Abstract

A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a housing, at least one roller positioned inside the housing, a display unit including a display panel and a module cover having at least one apron, of which at least a portion is connected to each other, and a driver including a motor assembly, an upper bar coupled to an upper part of the display unit, and at least one support portion having one side coupled to both ends of the upper bar and the other side coupled to the motor assembly and moving up and down the upper bar. Both ends of the at least one apron bend in a forward direction.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. A display device comprising:
 a housing; 
 at least one roller positioned inside the housing; 
 a module cover comprising a plurality of aprons; 
 a display unit comprising a display panel configured to be rolled around the at least one roller, wherein the display panel is coupled to the module cover and a source printed circuit board (PCB) electrically connected to the display panel; 
 a motor assembly; 
 an upper bar coupled to an upper part of the display unit; 
 at least one support portion having one side coupled to an end of the upper bar and having another side coupled to the motor assembly, the at least one support portion moving the upper bar up and down with an operation of the motor assembly; and 
 a cable electrically connecting the source PCB to an electronic device inside the housing, wherein at least a portion of the cable passes through through holes of the plurality of aprons, 
 wherein the plurality of aprons comprise a first apron and an adjacent second apron, and the cable passes through a first through hole of the first apron and into a second through hole of the second apron, 
 wherein the display panel is configured to be retracted and rolled around the at least one roller inside the housing, 
 wherein the display panel is further configured to be extended from the housing by the at least one support portion by operation of the motor assembly, and 
 wherein the through holes of the plurality of aprons are vertically aligned when the display is extended and a portion of the cable between the source PCB and the electronic device inside the housing is vertically passed through the plurality of aprons through the through holes of the plurality of aprons when the display is extended. 
 
     
     
       2. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein the display panel is connected to an unbent portion of the module cover. 
     
     
       3. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein a bent portion of the at least one apron in the forward direction protrudes more than the display panel by a predetermined distance in the forward direction. 
     
     
       4. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of aprons includes at least one bead that is positioned on an upper surface of each apron and formed by a depressed central region of the upper surface of each apron. 
     
     
       5. The display device of  claim 4 , wherein the at least one bead includes a plurality of beads, and wherein the plurality of beads are positioned to be spaced apart from each other. 
     
     
       6. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein the source PCB is coupled to the upper bar. 
     
     
       7. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of aprons includes a depression that is depressed backward at a front surface of each apron. 
     
     
       8. The display device of  claim 7 , wherein the depression is positioned in a center of each apron. 
     
     
       9. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one roller includes at least one through hole on an outer periphery of the at least one roller. 
     
     
       10. The display device of  claim 9 , wherein at least a portion of the cable penetrates the at least one through hole of the at least one roller. 
     
     
       11. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein an axis of the through hole of the at least one apron is parallel to the display panel. 
     
     
       12. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the source PCB is coupled at upper region of the display panel such that a position of the source PCB is changed when the display panel is retracted or extended. 
 
     
     
       13. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of aprons are rolled around the at least one roller together with the display panel. 
     
     
       14. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one roller corresponds to a first roller and a second roller, and the display panel is rolled around the first roller and the plurality of aprons are rolled around the second roller.
