Abstract

Provided herein are compounds, compositions, and methods useful for inhibiting protein tyrosine phosphatase, e.g., protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 2 (PTPN2) and/or protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 1 (PTPN1), and for treating related diseases, disorders and conditions favorably responsive to PTPN1 or PTPN2 inhibitor treatment, e.g., a cancer or a metabolic disease.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. A compound represented by: 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
       
     
     
       2. A compound, wherein the compound is 5-{(7R)-1-fluoro-3-hydroxy-7-[(3-methylbutyl)amino]-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-yl}-1λ 6 ,2,5-thiadiazolidine-1,1,3-trione, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 
     
     
       3. The compound of  claim 2 , wherein the compound is the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of 5-{(7R)-1-fluoro-3-hydroxy-7-[(3-methylbutyl)amino]-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-yl}-1λ 6 ,2,5-thiadiazolidine-1,1,3-trione.
