Dynamic composite user identifier

Abstract

A system to dynamically generate and cause display of composite user identifiers is described. Embodiments of the present disclosure related to systems for: receiving an identification of a user profile from a client device; retrieving user identifiers associated with the user profile and a user profile associated with the client device; selecting an animation script from among a plurality of animation scripts, the animation script including a set of graphical elements; generating a composite user identifier based on the user identifiers associated with the user profile and the user profile associated with the client device; and causing display of a presentation of the composite user identifier at the client device, wherein the presentation is based on the animation script.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. A method comprising:
 receiving, by one or more processors, from a first client device associated with a first user profile, an identification of a second user profile; 
 retrieving a first user identifier associated with the first user profile and a second user identifier associated with the second user profile, the first user identifier comprising first texture data and the second user identifier comprising second texture data; 
 accessing a chat history between the first user account and the second user account, the chat history comprising a set of messages that include selections of animations scripts from among a plurality of animation scripts; 
 ranking an animation script among the plurality of animation scripts based on the selections of the animation scripts from among the plurality of animation scripts; 
 selecting the animation script from among a plurality of animation scripts based on the ranking of the animation script among the plurality of animation scripts, the animation script comprising a set of instructions that animate a set of graphical elements; 
 generating a composite identifier based on the first texture data of the first user identifier, the second texture data of the second user identifier, and the set of graphical elements; and 
 causing display of a presentation of the second user profile at the first client device, the presentation of the second user profile comprising a display of the composite identifier based on the animation script. 
 
     
     
       2. The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composite identifier is a first composite identifier, the animation script is a first animation script, the set of graphical elements are a first set of graphical elements; the selecting the animation script from the plurality of animation scripts includes curating a collection of animation scripts that includes the first animation script and at least a second animation script that comprises a second set of graphical elements, and the method further comprises:
 receiving a selection of the second animation script; 
 generating a second composite identifier based on the first texture data of the first user identifier, the second texture data of the second user identifier, and the second set of graphical elements; and 
 updating the presentation of the second user profile at the first client device based on the second composite identifier and the second animation script. 
 
     
     
       3. The method of  claim 1 , wherein the selecting the animation script from among the plurality of animation scripts includes:
 identifying media content that comprises the animation script among messages of the chat history; and 
 selecting the animation script from among the plurality of animation scripts in response to the identifying the media content that comprises the animation script among the set of messages. 
 
     
     
       4. The method of  claim 1 , wherein the first user identifier includes a first graphical avatar, and the second user identifier includes a second graphical avatar. 
     
     
       5. The method of  claim 1 , wherein the causing display of the presentation of the second user profile that includes the display of the composite identifier based on the animation script includes:
 animating the composite identifier based on the animation script. 
 
     
     
       6. The method of  claim 1 , wherein the receiving the identification of the second user profile from the first client device associated with the first user profile includes:
 causing display of the second user identifier of the second user profile among a set of user identifiers at the first client device; and 
 receiving a selection of the second user identifier from the first client device. 
 
     
     
       7. The method of  claim 1 , wherein the receiving the identification of the second user profile from the first client device associated with the first user profile includes:
 receiving a user input that comprises the identification of the second user profile, the user input comprising a text string. 
 
     
     
       8. A system comprising:
 a memory; and 
 at least one hardware processor coupled to the memory and comprising instructions that causes the system to perform operations comprising: 
 receiving, by one or more processors, from a first client device associated with a first user profile, an identification of a second user profile; 
 retrieving a first user identifier associated with the first user profile and a second user identifier associated with the second user profile, the first user identifier comprising first texture data and the second user identifier comprising second texture data; 
 accessing a chat history between the first user account and the second user account, the chat history comprising a set of messages that include selections of animations scripts from among a plurality of animation scripts; 
 ranking an animation script among the plurality of animation scripts based on the selections of the animation scripts from among the plurality of animation scripts; 
 selecting the animation script from among a plurality of animation scripts based on the ranking of the animation script among the plurality of animation scripts, the animation script comprising a set of instructions that animate a set of graphical elements; 
 generating a composite identifier based on the first texture data of the first user identifier, the second texture data of the second user identifier, and the set of graphical elements; and 
 causing display of a presentation of the second user profile at the first client device, the presentation of the second user profile comprising a display of the composite identifier based on the animation script. 
 
     
     
       9. The system of  claim 8 , wherein the composite identifier is a first composite identifier, the animation script is a first animation script, the set of graphical elements are a first set of graphical elements, the selecting the animation script from the plurality of animation scripts includes curating a collection of animation scripts that includes the first animation script and at least a second animation script that comprises a second set of graphical elements, and the instructions cause the system to perform operations further comprising:
 receiving a selection of the second animation script; 
 generating a second composite identifier based on the first texture data of the first user identifier, the second texture data of the second user identifier, and the second set of graphical elements; and 
 updating the presentation of the second user profile at the first client device based on the second composite identifier and the second animation script. 
 
     
     
       10. The system of  claim 8 , wherein the selecting the animation script from among the plurality of animation scripts includes:
 identifying media content that comprises the animation script among the set of messages of the chat history; and 
 selecting the animation script from among the plurality of animation scripts in response to the identifying the media content that comprises the animation script among the set of messages. 
 
     
     
       11. The system of  claim 8 , wherein the first user identifier includes a first graphical avatar, and the second user identifier includes a second graphical avatar. 
     
     
       12. The system of  claim 8 , wherein the causing display of the presentation of the second user profile that includes the display of the composite identifier based on the animation script includes:
 animating the composite identifier based on the animation script. 
 
     
     
       13. The system of  claim 8 , wherein the receiving the identification of the second user profile from the first client device associated with the first user profile includes:
 causing display of the second user identifier of the second user profile among a set of user identifiers at the first client device; and 
 receiving a selection of the second user identifier from the first client device. 
 
     
     
       14. The system of  claim 8 , wherein the receiving the identification of the second user profile from the first client device associated with the first user profile includes:
 receiving a user input that comprises the identification of the second user profile, the user input comprising a text string. 
 
     
     
       15. A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
 receiving, by one or more processors, from a first client device associated with a first user profile, an identification of a second user profile; 
 retrieving a first user identifier associated with the first user profile and a second user identifier associated with the second user profile, the first user identifier comprising first texture data and the second user identifier comprising second texture data; 
 accessing a chat history between the first user account and the second user account, the chat history comprising a set of messages that include selections of animations scripts from among a plurality of animation scripts; 
 ranking an animation script among the plurality of animation scripts based on the selections of the animation scripts from among the plurality of animation scripts; 
 selecting the animation script from among a plurality of animation scripts based on the ranking of the animation script among the plurality of animation scripts, the animation script comprising a set of instructions that animate a set of graphical elements; 
 generating a composite identifier based on the first texture data of the first user identifier, the second texture data of the second user identifier, and the set of graphical elements; and 
 causing display of a presentation of the second user profile at the first client device, the presentation of the second user profile comprising a display of the composite identifier based on the animation script.

The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of  claim 15 , wherein the composite identifier is a first composite identifier, the animation script is a first animation script, the set of graphical elements are a first set of graphical elements, the selecting the animation script from the plurality of animation scripts includes curating a collection of animation scripts that includes the first animation script and at least a second animation script that comprises a second set of graphical elements, and the instructions cause the machine to perform operations further comprising:
 receiving a selection of the second animation script; 
 generating a second composite identifier based on the first texture data of the first user identifier, the second texture data of the second user identifier, and the second set of graphical elements; and 
 updating the presentation of the second user profile at the first client device based on the second composite identifier and the second animation script.
