Claims

Abstract

A display device including: a first data line arranged in a display area of a substrate and extending in a first direction; a second data line arranged in the display area and extending in the first direction; a connecting line arranged in the display area and including a first portion parallel to the first data line, a third portion parallel to the second data line, and a second portion between the first portion and the third portion, wherein the connecting line is electrically connected to the second data line; and an auxiliary line overlapping the first data line or the second data line.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. A display device, comprising:
 a first data line; 
 a second data line adjacent to the first data line; 
 a connecting line arranged in a display area and including a first portion parallel to the first data line, a third portion parallel to the second data line, and a second portion between the first portion and the third portion, wherein the connecting line is electrically connected to the second data line; and 
 an auxiliary line overlapping at least one of the first data line or the second data line. 
 
     
     
       2. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein
 the auxiliary line is located on a same layer as the connecting line, and 
 the auxiliary line and the connecting line are spaced apart from each other. 
 
     
     
       3. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein the auxiliary line comprises:
 a first auxiliary line overlapping the first data line; and 
 a second auxiliary line overlapping the second data line. 
 
     
     
       4. The display device of  claim 3 , wherein
 a length of the first auxiliary line is different from a length of the second auxiliary line. 
 
     
     
       5. The display device of  claim 3 , further comprising:
 a first power line adjacent to the first data line; and 
 a second power line adjacent to the second data line, 
 wherein the first auxiliary line is connected to the first power line, and the second auxiliary line is connected to the second power line. 
 
     
     
       6. The display device of  claim 3 , wherein the first auxiliary line overlaps the first data line in a lengthwise direction of the first data line and the second auxiliary line overlaps the second data line in a lengthwise direction of the second data line. 
     
     
       7. The display device of  claim 3 , further comprising a third auxiliary line connected to the second data line. 
     
     
       8. The display device of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a third auxiliary line overlapping the second data line and connected to the second data line. 
 
     
     
       9. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein
 the second portion of the connecting line extends in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. 
 
     
     
       10. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein
 the third portion of the connecting line is connected to the second data line at a portion other than the end portion of the third portion of the connecting line. 
 
     
     
       11. The display device of  claim 1 , Wherein the auxiliary line comprises:
 a first auxiliary line overlapping the second data line and connected to the second data line. 
 
     
     
       12. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein
 the auxiliary line is separated by the second portion of the connecting line. 
 
     
     
       13. The display device of  claim 1 , wherein
 the display area includes a first area in which the connecting line is arranged and a second area, 
 the display device further comprising a dummy line arranged in the second area and located on the same layer as the connecting line. 
 
     
     
       14. The display device of  claim 13 , wherein
 the dummy line is connected to the auxiliary line. 
 
     
     
       15. The display device of  claim 14 , wherein
 the dummy line is connected to a power line for supplying a power voltage to a pixel.
