Abstract

An electronic device displays user interfaces for configuring a lock accessory device based on detected features of the lock accessory device, such as a short-range communication user interface for enabling an express mode of the lock accessory device and/or a pin user interface object for enabling a code for accessing the lock accessory device.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. A computer system configured to communicate with a display generation component and one or more input devices, comprising:
 one or more processors; and 
 memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, a request to configure an electronic lock that is separate from the computer system; 
 in response to receiving the request to configure the electronic lock, starting a configuration process for configuring the electronic lock; and 
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock includes a short-range communication feature for communicating via short-range wireless communication, displaying, via the display generation component, an option to configure a first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication; 
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock does not include the short-range communication feature, forgoing display, via the display generation component, of the option to configure the first account of the computer system to provide credentials without requiring authentication; 
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock includes a keypad feature, displaying, via the display generation component, an option to configure a code of the first account of the computer system to be used for unlocking the electronic lock via the keypad feature of the electronic lock; and 
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock does not include the keypad feature, forgoing display, via the display generation component, of the option to configure a code of the first account of the computer system to be used for unlocking the electronic lock. 
 
 
 
     
     
       2. The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 prior to receiving the request to configure the electronic lock, detecting, via the one or more input devices, the electronic lock; and 
 in response to detecting the electronic lock, displaying a user interface object, wherein the request to configure the electronic lock is an input corresponding to the user interface object. 
 
     
     
       3. The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, user input that selects a location for the electronic lock; 
 associating, based on the user input that selects the location, the electronic lock with the location; 
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, user input that selects a name for the electronic lock; and 
 associating, based on the user input that selects the name, the electronic lock with the name. 
 
 
     
     
       4. The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 displaying, via the display generation component, one or more lock automation options, which, when enabled, cause the electronic lock to change to a predefined state when a lock condition is met. 
 
 
     
     
       5. The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 in accordance with a determination that a home automation system associated with the computer system is configured for guest access, displaying, via the display generation component, a user interface to enable guests of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock, including:
 a first guest user interface object that is selectable to enable a first guest of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock without enabling a second guest of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock, and 
 a second guest user interface object that is selectable to enable the second guest to operate the electronic lock without enabling the first guest to operate the electronic lock; and 
 
 in accordance with a determination that the home automation system associated with the computer system is not configured for guest access, forgoing displaying, via the display generation component, the user interface to enable guests of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock. 
 
 
     
     
       6. The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 configuring the electronic lock based on user inputs received during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock. 
 
     
     
       7. The computer system of  claim 6 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock:
 detecting, via one or more input devices, user input corresponding to a request to transmit, to the electronic lock, credentials of the first account to unlock the electronic lock; and 
 in response to detecting the request to transmit credentials of the first account to unlock the electronic lock, transmitting, to the electronic lock via short-range communication, credentials of the first account. 
 
 
     
     
       8. The computer system of  claim 6 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock:
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, an indication that the electronic lock has been unlocked using a code associated with a particular account; and 
 in response to receiving the indication that the electronic lock has been unlocked using the code associated with the particular account, displaying, via the display generation component, a notification indicating that the electronic lock has been unlocked using the code associated with the particular account. 
 
 
     
     
       9. The computer system of  claim 6 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock:
 detecting, via the one or more input devices, a wireless field of the electronic lock; and 
 in response to detecting the wireless field of the electronic lock, transmitting, to the electronic lock via short-range communication, credentials of the first account. 
 
 
     
     
       10. The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 while displaying, via the display generation component, the option to configure the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication, receiving, via the one or more input devices, one or more configuration user inputs selecting the option to configure the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication; 
 subsequent to receiving the one or more configuration user inputs, receiving, via the one or more input devices biometric information; 
 in accordance with a determination that the biometric information matches enrolled biometric information, configuring the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication; and 
 in accordance with a determination that the biometric information does not match enrolled biometric information, forgoing configuring the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication. 
 
     
     
       11. The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein configuring the electronic lock includes configuring the electronic lock for use as part of a home automation system, and wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock, initiating a process to cause notifications to be transmitted to one or more other computer systems of users of the home automation system indicating that an account of the one or more other computer systems can be configured to provide credentials to the electronic lock via short-range communication without requiring authentication. 
 
     
     
       12. The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein:
 configuring the electronic lock includes automatically adding the first account to an electronic wallet of the computer system, wherein the electronic wallet includes one or more additional accounts. 
 
     
     
       13. The computer system of  claim 12 , wherein adding the first account to the electronic wallet of the computer system includes:
 associating the first account with a visual representation, wherein a color of the visual representation is selected based on a color of the electronic lock. 
 
     
     
       14. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of a computer system that is in communication with a display generation component and one or more input devices, the one or more programs including instructions for:
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, a request to configure an electronic lock that is separate from the computer system; 
 in response to receiving the request to configure the electronic lock, starting a configuration process for configuring the electronic lock; and 
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock includes a short-range communication feature for communicating via short-range wireless communication, displaying, via the display generation component, an option to configure a first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication; 
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock does not include the short-range communication feature, forgoing display, via the display generation component, of the option to configure the first account of the computer system to provide credentials without requiring authentication; 
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock includes a keypad feature, displaying, via the display generation component, an option to configure a code of the first account of the computer system to be used for unlocking the electronic lock via the keypad feature of the electronic lock; and 
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock does not include the keypad feature, forgoing display, via the display generation component, of the option to configure a code of the first account of the computer system to be used for unlocking the electronic lock. 
 
 
     
     
       15. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 14 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 prior to receiving the request to configure the electronic lock, detecting, via the one or more input devices, the electronic lock; and 
 in response to detecting the electronic lock, displaying a user interface object, wherein the request to configure the electronic lock is an input corresponding to the user interface object. 
 
     
     
       16. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 14 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, user input that selects a location for the electronic lock; 
 associating, based on the user input that selects the location, the electronic lock with the location; 
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, user input that selects a name for the electronic lock; and 
 associating, based on the user input that selects the name, the electronic lock with the name. 
 
 
     
     
       17. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 14 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 displaying, via the display generation component, one or more lock automation options, which, when enabled, cause the electronic lock to change to a predefined state when a lock condition is met. 
 
 
     
     
       18. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 14 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 in accordance with a determination that a home automation system associated with the computer system is configured for guest access, displaying, via the display generation component, a user interface to enable guests of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock, including:
 a first guest user interface object that is selectable to enable a first guest of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock without enabling a second guest of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock, and 
 a second guest user interface object that is selectable to enable the second guest to operate the electronic lock without enabling the first guest to operate the electronic lock; and 
 
 in accordance with a determination that the home automation system associated with the computer system is not configured for guest access, forgoing displaying, via the display generation component, the user interface to enable guests of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock. 
 
 
     
     
       19. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 14 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 configuring the electronic lock based on user inputs received during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock. 
 
     
     
       20. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 19 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock:
 detecting, via one or more input devices, user input corresponding to a request to transmit, to the electronic lock, credentials of the first account to unlock the electronic lock; and 
 in response to detecting the request to transmit credentials of the first account to unlock the electronic lock, transmitting, to the electronic lock via short-range communication, credentials of the first account. 
 
 
     
     
       21. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 19 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock:
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, an indication that the electronic lock has been unlocked using a code associated with a particular account; and 
 in response to receiving the indication that the electronic lock has been unlocked using the code associated with the particular account, displaying, via the display generation component, a notification indicating that the electronic lock has been unlocked using the code associated with the particular account. 
 
 
     
     
       22. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 19 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock:
 detecting, via the one or more input devices, a wireless field of the electronic lock; and 
 in response to detecting the wireless field of the electronic lock, transmitting, to the electronic lock via short-range communication, credentials of the first account. 
 
 
     
     
       23. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 14 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 while displaying, via the display generation component, the option to configure the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication, receiving, via the one or more input devices, one or more configuration user inputs selecting the option to configure the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication; 
 subsequent to receiving the one or more configuration user inputs, receiving, via the one or more input devices biometric information; 
 in accordance with a determination that the biometric information matches enrolled biometric information, configuring the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication; and 
 in accordance with a determination that the biometric information does not match enrolled biometric information, forgoing configuring the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication. 
 
     
     
       24. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 14 , wherein configuring the electronic lock includes configuring the electronic lock for use as part of a home automation system, and wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock, initiating a process to cause notifications to be transmitted to one or more other computer systems of users of the home automation system indicating that an account of the one or more other computer systems can be configured to provide credentials to the electronic lock via short-range communication without requiring authentication. 
 
     
     
       25. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 14 , wherein:
 configuring the electronic lock includes automatically adding the first account to an electronic wallet of the computer system, wherein the electronic wallet includes one or more additional accounts. 
 
     
     
       26. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 25 , wherein adding the first account to the electronic wallet of the computer system includes:
 associating the first account with a visual representation, wherein a color of the visual representation is selected based on a color of the electronic lock. 
 
     
     
       27. A method, comprising:
 at a computer system that is in communication with a display generation component and one or more input devices:
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, a request to configure an electronic lock that is separate from the computer system; 
 in response to receiving the request to configure the electronic lock, starting a configuration process for configuring the electronic lock; and 
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock includes a short-range communication feature for communicating via short-range wireless communication, displaying, via the display generation component, an option to configure a first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication; 
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock does not include the short-range communication feature, forgoing display, via the display generation component, of the option to configure the first account of the computer system to provide credentials without requiring authentication; 
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock includes a keypad feature, displaying, via the display generation component, an option to configure a code of the first account of the computer system to be used for unlocking the electronic lock via the keypad feature of the electronic lock; and 
 in accordance with a determination that the electronic lock does not include the keypad feature, forgoing display, via the display generation component, of the option to configure a code of the first account of the computer system to be used for unlocking the electronic lock. 
 
 
 
     
     
       28. The method of  claim 27 , further comprising:
 prior to receiving the request to configure the electronic lock, detecting, via the one or more input devices, the electronic lock; and 
 in response to detecting the electronic lock, displaying a user interface object, wherein the request to configure the electronic lock is an input corresponding to the user interface object. 
 
     
     
       29. The method of  claim 27 , further comprising:
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, user input that selects a location for the electronic lock; 
 associating, based on the user input that selects the location, the electronic lock with the location; 
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, user input that selects a name for the electronic lock; and 
 associating, based on the user input that selects the name, the electronic lock with the name. 
 
 
     
     
       30. The method of  claim 27 , further comprising:
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 displaying, via the display generation component, one or more lock automation options, which, when enabled, cause the electronic lock to change to a predefined state when a lock condition is met. 
 
 
     
     
       31. The method of  claim 27 , further comprising:
 during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock:
 in accordance with a determination that a home automation system associated with the computer system is configured for guest access, displaying, via the display generation component, a user interface to enable guests of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock, including:
 a first guest user interface object that is selectable to enable a first guest of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock without enabling a second guest of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock, and 
 a second guest user interface object that is selectable to enable the second guest to operate the electronic lock without enabling the first guest to operate the electronic lock; and 
 
 in accordance with a determination that the home automation system associated with the computer system is not configured for guest access, forgoing displaying, via the display generation component, the user interface to enable guests of the home automation system to operate the electronic lock. 
 
 
     
     
       32. The method of  claim 27 , further comprising:
 configuring the electronic lock based on user inputs received during the configuration process for configuring the electronic lock. 
 
     
     
       33. The method of  claim 32 , further comprising:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock:
 detecting, via one or more input devices, user input corresponding to a request to transmit, to the electronic lock, credentials of the first account to unlock the electronic lock; and 
 in response to detecting the request to transmit credentials of the first account to unlock the electronic lock, transmitting, to the electronic lock via short-range communication, credentials of the first account. 
 
 
     
     
       34. The method of  claim 32 , further comprising:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock:
 receiving, via the one or more input devices, an indication that the electronic lock has been unlocked using a code associated with a particular account; and 
 in response to receiving the indication that the electronic lock has been unlocked using the code associated with the particular account, displaying, via the display generation component, a notification indicating that the electronic lock has been unlocked using the code associated with the particular account. 
 
 
     
     
       35. The method of  claim 32 , further comprising:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock:
 detecting, via the one or more input devices, a wireless field of the electronic lock, and 
 in response to detecting the wireless field of the electronic lock, transmitting, to the electronic lock via short-range communication, credentials of the first account. 
 
 
     
     
       36. The method of  claim 27 , further comprising:
 while displaying, via the display generation component, the option to configure the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication, receiving, via the one or more input devices, one or more configuration user inputs selecting the option to configure the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication; 
 subsequent to receiving the one or more configuration user inputs, receiving, via the one or more input devices biometric information; 
 in accordance with a determination that the biometric information matches enrolled biometric information, configuring the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication; and 
 in accordance with a determination that the biometric information does not match enrolled biometric information, forgoing configuring the first account of the computer system to provide credentials via short-range communication without requiring authentication. 
 
     
     
       37. The method of  claim 27 , wherein configuring the electronic lock includes configuring the electronic lock for use as part of a home automation system, and wherein the method further comprises:
 subsequent to configuring the electronic lock, initiating a process to cause notifications to be transmitted to one or more other computer systems of users of the home automation system indicating that an account of the one or more other computer systems can be configured to provide credentials to the electronic lock via short-range communication without requiring authentication. 
 
     
     
       38. The method of  claim 27 , wherein:
 configuring the electronic lock includes automatically adding the first account to an electronic wallet of the computer system, wherein the electronic wallet includes one or more additional accounts. 
 
     
     
       39. The method of  claim 38 , wherein adding the first account to the electronic wallet of the computer system includes:
 associating the first account with a visual representation, wherein a color of the visual representation is selected based on a color of the electronic lock.
