Abstract

A connector includes a first connector body having a through hole configured to receive a conduit, a first washer disposed in the first connector body, the first washer being configured to permit the conduit to be pushed in a first direction through the through hole while resisting movement of the conduit in a second direction opposite to the first direction, a second connector body configured to be coupled to the first connector body, the second connector body having a through hole configured to receive a tubular member, and a second washer disposed in the second connector body, the second washer being configured to permit the tubular member to be pushed in the second direction through the through hole of the second connector body and into the second connector body while resisting movement of the tubular member in the first direction.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. A connector, comprising:
 a body having a cavity; 
 a washer configured to be disposed in the cavity between a first ring and a second ring in an axial direction; 
 wherein the first ring and the second ring are configured to receive a conduit; 
 wherein the washer includes flexible fingers configured to be disposed radially outward of the second ring between the second ring and an inner wall of the body in a radial direction; 
 wherein the washer and the second ring are configured to rotate together relative to the body; and 
 wherein the washer includes radially inward-extending flexible fingers configured to define an opening sized and configured to be slightly smaller than an outer diameter of the conduit such that the washer is configures to permit the conduit to be pushed in a first direction through the first ring and the second ring while resisting movement of the conduit in a second direction opposite to the first direction. 
 
     
     
       2. The connector of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a second body configured to be coupled to the body, the second body having a through hole configured to receive a tubular member; and 
 a second washer disposed in the second body, the second washer being configured to permit the tubular member to be pushed in the second direction through the through hole of the second body and into the body while resisting movement of the tubular member in the first direction. 
 
     
     
       3. The connector of  claim 1 , wherein the inward-extending fingers are configured to provide a gripping force against the conduit, the gripping force being configured to allow the washer to rotate with the conduit. 
     
     
       4. The connector of  claim 1 , wherein the washer comprises a conductive metal and the conduit includes a conductive shield, and
 wherein the washer is configured to provide a continuous ground path from the conductive shield through the first washer and to the first connector body. 
 
     
     
       5. The connector of  claim 1 , wherein a radially outer surface of the second ring includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced notches, and
 wherein the flexible fingers are received in the plurality of circumferentially spaced notches. 
 
     
     
       6. The connector of  claim 1 , wherein each of the flexible fingers is configured to create a low friction connection point between the washer and the inner wall of the body. 
     
     
       7. The connector of  claim 6 , wherein each of the flexible fingers includes a projection on a radially outward-facing surface thereof, and the projection is configured to create the low friction connection point. 
     
     
       8. The connector of  claim 7 , wherein the projection is configured to prevent an edge of the outward extending finger from scratching the inner wall of the body when the washer is rotated relative to the body. 
     
     
       9. A connector, comprising:
 a body having a cavity; 
 a washer configured to be disposed in the cavity between a first ring and a second ring in an axial direction; 
 wherein the first ring and the second ring are configured to receive a conduit; 
 wherein the washer is configured to permit the conduit to be pushed in a first direction through the first ring and the second ring while resisting movement of the conduit in a second direction opposite to the first direction; 
 wherein a portion of the washer is configured to be disposed between the second ring and an inner wall of the body in a radial direction; 
 wherein the washer and the second ring are configured to rotate together relative to the body; and 
 wherein the washer is configured to include a projection on a radially outward-facing surface thereof such that the projection is configured to create a low friction connection point between the washer and the inner wall of the body. 
 
     
     
       10. The connector of  claim 9 , further comprising:
 a second body configured to be coupled to the body, the second body having a through hole configured to receive a tubular member; and 
 a second washer disposed in the second body, the second washer being configured to permit the tubular member to be pushed in the second direction through the through hole of the second body and into the body while resisting movement of the tubular member in the first direction. 
 
     
     
       11. The connector of  claim 9 , wherein the washer includes radially inward-extending flexible fingers configured to define an opening sized and configured to be slightly smaller than an outer diameter of the conduit. 
     
     
       12. The connector of  claim 11 , wherein the inward-extending fingers are configured to provide a gripping force against the conduit, the gripping force being configured to allow the washer to rotate with the conduit. 
     
     
       13. The connector of  claim 9 , wherein the washer comprises a conductive metal and the conduit includes a conductive shield, and
 wherein the washer is configured to provide a continuous ground path from the conductive shield through the first washer and to the first connector body. 
 
     
     
       14. The connector of  claim 9 , wherein a radially outer surface of the second ring includes a notch, and
 wherein the portion of the washer is received in the notch. 
 
     
     
       15. The connector of  claim 9 , wherein the washer includes an outward extending finger configured to be disposed radially outward of the second ring between the second ring and an inner wall of the body in a radial direction; and
 wherein the finger includes the projection. 
 
     
     
       16. The connector of  claim 15 , wherein the projection is configured to prevent an edge of the outward extending finger from scratching the inner wall of the body when the washer is rotated relative to the body. 
     
     
       17. The connector of  claim 9 , wherein the washer is configured to include a plurality of projections on radially outward-facing surface thereof, and the projections are configured to create a plurality of the low friction connection points. 
     
     
       18. A connector, comprising:
 a body having a cavity; 
 a washer configured to be disposed in the cavity between a first ring and a second ring in an axial direction; 
 wherein the first ring and the second ring are configured to receive a conduit; 
 wherein the washer is configured to permit the conduit to be pushed in a first direction through the first ring and the second ring while resisting movement of the conduit in a second direction opposite to the first direction; 
 wherein the washer and the second ring are configured to rotate together relative to the body; and 
 wherein the washer is configured to include a radially outward-facing surface thereof such that the projection is configured to create a low friction connection point between the washer and the body. 
 
     
     
       19. The connector of  claim 18 , further comprising:
 a second body configured to be coupled to the body, the second body having a through hole configured to receive a tubular member; and 
 a second washer disposed in the second body, the second washer being configured to permit the tubular member to be pushed in the second direction through the through hole of the second body and into the body while resisting movement of the tubular member in the first direction. 
 
     
     
       20. The connector of  claim 18 , wherein the washer includes radially inward-extending flexible fingers configured to define an opening sized and configured to be slightly smaller than an outer diameter of the conduit. 
     
     
       21. The connector of  claim 20 , wherein the inward-extending fingers are configured to provide a gripping force against the conduit, the gripping force being configured to allow the washer to rotate with the conduit. 
     
     
       22. The connector of  claim 18 , wherein the washer comprises a conductive metal and the conduit includes a conductive shield, and
 wherein the washer is configured to provide a continuous ground path from the conductive shield through the first washer and to the first connector body. 
 
     
     
       23. The connector of  claim 18 , wherein the washer includes an outward extending finger configured to be disposed radially outward of the second ring between the second ring and an inner wall of the body in a radial direction; and
 wherein the finger includes the projection. 
 
     
     
       24. The connector of  claim 23 , wherein the projection is configured to prevent an edge of the outward extending finger from scratching the inner wall of the body when the washer is rotated relative to the body. 
     
     
       25. The connector of  claim 18 , wherein the washer is configured to include a plurality of projections on a radially outward-facing surface thereof, and the projections are configured to create a plurality of low friction connection points. 
     
     
       26. A connector, comprising:
 a body having a cavity; 
 a washer configured to be disposed in the cavity between a first ring and a second ring in an axial direction, the first ring and the second ring being configured to receive a conduit; 
 wherein the washer is configured to permit the conduit to be pushed in a first direction through the first ring and the second ring while resisting movement of the conduit in a second direction opposite to the first direction; 
 wherein the washer includes flexible fingers between the second ring and an inner wall of the body in a radial direction; 
 wherein the washer and the second ring are configured to rotate together relative to the body; and 
 wherein the washer is configured to include a projection on a radially outward facing surface thereof such that the projection is configured to create a low friction connection point between the washer and the inner wall of the body. 
 
     
     
       27. The connector of  claim 26 , further comprising:
 a second body configured to be coupled to the body, the second body having a through hole configured to receive a tubular member; and 
 a second washer disposed in the second body, the second washer being configured to permit the tubular member to be pushed in the second direction through the through hole of the second body and into the body while resisting movement of the tubular member in the first direction. 
 
     
     
       28. The connector of  claim 26 , wherein the washer includes radially inward-extending flexible fingers configured to define an opening sized and configured to be slightly smaller than an outer diameter of the conduit. 
     
     
       29. The connector of  claim 28 , wherein the inward-extending fingers are configured to provide a gripping force against the conduit, the gripping force being configured to allow the washer to rotate with the conduit. 
     
     
       30. The connector of  claim 26 , wherein the washer comprises a conductive metal and the conduit includes a conductive shield; and
 wherein the washer is configured to provide a continuous ground path from the conductive shield through the first washer and to the first connector body. 
 
     
     
       31. The connector of  claim 26 , wherein a radially outer surface of the second ring includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced notches; and
 wherein the flexible fingers are received in the plurality of circumferentially spaced notches. 
 
     
     
       32. The connector of  claim 26 , wherein the washer includes an outward extending finger configured to be disposed radially outward of the second ring between the second ring and an inner wall of the body in a radial direction; and
 wherein the finger includes the projection. 
 
     
     
       33. The connector of  claim 32 , wherein the projection is configured to prevent an edge of the outward extending finger from scratching the inner wall of the body when the washer is rotated relative to the body. 
     
     
       34. The connector of  claim 26 , wherein the washer is configured to include a plurality of projections on the radially outward-facing surface thereof, and the projections are configured to create a plurality of the low friction connection points.
