Abstract
An electronic gaming machine and a method are provided which generates outcome presentations from a Class 2 or a central determination game outcome. A database stores RNG seeds that correspond to various presentations. To generate the outcome presentations, the RNG seeds are retrieved from the database and random numbers are generated from the RNG seeds. These random numbers are then used to generate the outcome presentations for the Class 2 or central determination game outcome. The RNG seeds may be stored as a series of RNG seeds which may be individually accessed to eliminate certain outcomes or sort certain outcomes prior to presentation.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1. An electronic gaming system comprising:
at least one memory device; and
at least one processor configured to execute instructions stored in the at least one memory device, wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the at least one processor to:
determine an electronic game outcome including an outcome amount;
in response to determining the outcome amount, select at least one presentation record stored in the at least one memory device;
identify a plurality of segments associated with the at least one presentation record, wherein each segment of the plurality of segments is associated with an output amount, and wherein a sum of each output amount equals the outcome amount;
sort the plurality of segments based upon a sorting condition stored in the at least one memory device to generate a plurality of sorted segments;
for each segment of the plurality of sorted segments, retrieve a corresponding RNG seed value from the at least one memory device; and
for each corresponding RNG seed value, determine and cause display of a reel-based game outcome on a display device.
2. The electronic gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the electronic game outcome comprises a bingo game outcome determined based at least in part on a bingo card and a bingo ball call.
3. The electronic gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions further cause the at least one processor to:
select at least one award profile based upon the outcome amount, wherein the at least one award profile is selected from a plurality of award profiles stored in the at least one memory device; and
in response to determining the outcome amount and selecting the at least one award profile, select the at least one presentation record stored in the at least one memory device.
4. The electronic gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions further cause the at least one processor to:
identify the plurality of segments by selecting a first segment including a link to at least one second segment; and
identify the at least one second segment, wherein the first segment and the at least one second segment comprise the plurality of segments.
5. The electronic gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions further cause the at least one processor to filter the plurality of sorted segments by marking each segment of the plurality of segments associated with an output amount less than or equal to a threshold amount as being not for presentation, wherein each marked segment is not displayed on the display device.
6. The electronic gaming system of claim 5 , wherein the threshold amount is zero.
7. The electronic gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the sorting condition comprises at least one of ascending outcome amount or descending outcome amount.
8. The electronic gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of sorted segments are included in a list of segments arranged in an order based upon the sorting condition.
9. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium with instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
determine an electronic game outcome including an outcome amount;
in response to determining the outcome amount, select at least one presentation record stored in a database;
identify a plurality of segments associated with the at least one presentation record, wherein each segment of the plurality of segments is associated with an output amount, and wherein a sum of each output amount equals the outcome amount;
sort the plurality of segments based upon a sorting condition stored in the database to generate a plurality of sorted segments;
for each segment of the plurality of sorted segments, retrieve a corresponding RNG seed value from the database; and
for each corresponding RNG seed value, determine and cause display of a reel-based game outcome on a display device.
10. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the electronic game outcome comprises a bingo game outcome determined based at least in part on a bingo card and a bingo ball call.
11. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the instructions further cause the at least one processor to:
select at least one award profile based upon the outcome amount, wherein the at least one award profile is selected from a plurality of award profiles stored in the database; and
in response to determining the outcome amount and selecting the at least one award profile, select the at least one presentation record stored in the database.
12. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the instructions further cause the at least one processor to:
identify the plurality of segments by selecting a first segment including a link to at least one second segment; and
identify the at least one second segment, wherein the first segment and the at least one second segment comprise the plurality of segments.
13. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the instructions further cause the at least one processor to filter the plurality of sorted segments by marking each segment of the plurality of segments associated with an output amount less than or equal to a threshold amount as being not for presentation, wherein each marked segment is not displayed on the display device.
14. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein the threshold amount is zero.
15. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the sorting condition comprises at least one of ascending outcome amount or descending outcome amount.
16. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the plurality of sorted segments are included in a list of segments arranged in an order based upon the sorting condition.
17. A method of electronic gaming implemented by at least one processor in communication with at least one memory, the method comprising:
determining an electronic game outcome including an outcome amount;
in response to determining the outcome amount, selecting at least one presentation record stored in the at least one memory;
identifying a plurality of segments associated with the at least one presentation record, wherein each segment of the plurality of segments is associated with an output amount, and wherein a sum of each output amount equals the outcome amount;
sorting the plurality of segments based upon a sorting condition stored in the at least one memory to generate a plurality of sorted segments;
for each segment of the plurality of sorted segments, retrieving a corresponding RNG seed value from the at least one memory; and
for each corresponding RNG seed value, determining and causing display of a reel-based game outcome on a display device.
18. The method of claim 17 , further comprising:
selecting at least one award profile based upon the outcome amount, wherein the at least one award profile is selected from a plurality of award profiles stored in the at least one memory; and
in response to determining the outcome amount and selecting the at least one award profile, selecting the at least one presentation record stored in the at least one memory.
19. The method of claim 17 , further comprising:
identifying the plurality of segments by selecting a first segment including a link to at least one second segment; and
identifying the at least one second segment, wherein the first segment and the at least one second segment comprise the plurality of segments.
20. The method of claim 17 , further comprising filtering the plurality of sorted segments by marking each segment of the plurality of segments associated with an output amount less than or equal to a threshold amount as being not for presentation, wherein each marked segment is not displayed on the display device.Cited by (0)
