The method may also include determining a customer order for the identified merchant based on the customer preference data. Further, the method may include transmitting a notification to a merchant device associated with the identified merchant, the notification including the determined customer order.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed:
1. A system for enabling in-store purchases, the system comprising a second mobile device coupled with:
one or more memory devices storing instructions; and
one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:
receiving, from a first mobile device of a customer through a wireless network by the second mobile device of the customer, customer data of the customer, the customer data comprising preference data;
storing the received customer data within the one or more memory devices of the second mobile device;
identifying, using the second mobile device of the customer, a merchant associated with a current location of the second mobile device through a geo-fencing process employing location-based measurement;
in response and subsequently to identifying the merchant, determining, at the second mobile device of the customer, a customer order based on a menu of items available from the merchant as compared with the preference data; and
transmitting a notification to a merchant device associated with the merchant, the notification including the customer order.
2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations comprise:
receiving a customer selection; and
triggering transmittal of the notification upon receipt of the customer selection.
3. The system of claim 2 , wherein receiving the customer selection comprises detecting a press of a button on the second mobile device.
4. The system of claim 2 , wherein receiving the customer selection comprises receiving the customer selection based on the preference data.
5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the preference data comprises data identifying at least one of categories of merchants or a specific merchant.
6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the preference data comprises an indication of a customer desire to transmit the notification upon at least one of approaching or entering a merchant's premises.
7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the preference data comprises an indication of a customer desire to transmit the notification based on a time of day.
8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the preference data comprises an indication of a customer desire to transmit the notification based on a number of customer orders per time period.
9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the second mobile device further comprises:
a repeater configured for wireless data transmission; and
a location-based measurement device.
10. The system of claim 1 , wherein identifying the merchant comprises:
determining a location of the second mobile device; and
determining whether the second mobile device is located within a predetermined location boundary associated with the merchant based on a proximity between the second mobile device and the merchant device.
11. The system of claim 1 , wherein identifying the merchant comprises transmitting location information to a financial service provider device.
12. A method for enabling in-store purchases, the method comprising:
receiving from a first mobile device of a customer by a second mobile device of the customer, customer data of the customer, the customer data comprising preference data;
storing the received customer data within memory of the second mobile device;
identifying a merchant associated with a current location of the second mobile device through a geo-fencing process employing location-based measurement;
in response and subsequently to identifying the merchant, determining at the second mobile device of the customer, a customer order based on a menu of items available from the merchant as compared with the preference data associated with the merchant;
receiving a customer selection; and
upon receipt of the customer selection, transmitting a notification to a merchant device associated with the merchant, the notification including the customer order.
13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the second mobile device further comprises:
a repeater configured for wireless data transmission; and a location-based measurement device.
14. The method of claim 12 , wherein identifying the merchant comprises:
determining a location of the second mobile device; and
determining whether the second mobile device is located within a predetermined location boundary associated with the merchant based on a proximity between the second mobile device and the merchant device.
15. The method of claim 12 , wherein identifying the merchant comprises transmitting location information to a financial service provider device.
16. The method of claim 12 , wherein the customer selection comprises detecting a press of a button on the second mobile device.
17. The method of claim 12 , wherein receiving the customer selection comprises receiving the customer selection based on the preference data.
18. The method of claim 12 , wherein the preference data comprises data identifying at least one of categories of merchants or a specific merchant.
19. The method of claim 12 , wherein the preference data comprises an indication of a customer desire to transmit the notification upon at least one of approaching or entering a merchant's premises.
20. The method of claim 12 , wherein the preference data comprises an indication of a customer desire to transmit the notification based on one of a time of day or a number of customer orders per time period.Cited by (0)
