Abstract

An in-vehicle environment setting system 10 includes: a receiving unit 210 that receives, from a vehicle 50 , setting information regarding a setting for an in-vehicle environment of the vehicle 50 and environment information regarding an outdoor environment of the vehicle 50 in a manner associated with an identity of a user 52 who boards the vehicle 50 ; a learning unit 220 that learns a preference of the user 52 related to the setting for the in-vehicle environment based on the setting information and the environment information; a generation unit 230 that generates recommended setting information regarding a recommended setting for the in-vehicle environment preferred by the user 52 based on a learning result of the preference; and a transmission unit 240 that transmits the recommended setting information to a vehicle 60 which is different from the vehicle 50.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

       1. An in-vehicle environment setting system, comprising a server configured to:
 receive, from a first vehicle, first setting information regarding a setting for an in-vehicle environment of the first vehicle and first environment information regarding an outdoor environment of the first vehicle in a manner associated with an identity of a user who boards the first vehicle;
 learn a preference of the user related to the setting for the in-vehicle environment based on the first setting information and the first environment information;
 generate first recommended setting information regarding a recommended setting for the in-vehicle environment preferred by the user based on a learning result of the preference; and
 transmit the first recommended setting information to a second vehicle which is different from the first vehicle,
 wherein the server is further configured to:
 receive, from the first vehicle, first usage style information indicating a usage style of the first vehicle by the user and, from the second vehicle, second usage style information indicating a usage style of the second vehicle by the user, wherein the usage style corresponds to whether the vehicle is being used as a private vehicle, a shared vehicle, a taxi, a rideshare vehicle, or a rented vehicle as determined based on at least a seat position of the user and a number of occupants in the vehicle including the user;
 learn a preference of the user related to the setting for the in-vehicle environment for each usage style based on the first setting information, the first environment information, and the first usage style information;
 generate third recommended setting information regarding a recommended setting for an in-vehicle environment of the second vehicle preferred by the user based on (i) the learning result of the preference for each usage style, (ii) differences in behavior of the same user while the user is on board the vehicle wherein the behavior of the same user is different for each usage style, and (iii) the second usage style information; and
 transmit the third recommended setting information to the second vehicle.

       2. The in-vehicle environment setting system according to claim 1 , wherein the preference of the user related to the setting for the in-vehicle environment includes a preference related to transient setting changes which the setting for the in-vehicle environment undergoes until it is stabilized.

       3. The in-vehicle environment setting system according to claim 1 , wherein the server is further configured to transmit to the second vehicle a dispatch instruction for causing the second vehicle to move to a desired dispatch place designated by the user.

       4. The in-vehicle environment setting system according to claim 1 , wherein the server is further configured to:
 receive second environment information regarding an outdoor environment of the second vehicle from the second vehicle;
 generate second recommended setting information regarding a recommended setting for an in-vehicle environment of the second vehicle preferred by the user based on the learning result of the preference and the second environment information; and
 transmit the second recommended setting information to the second vehicle.

       5. The in-vehicle environment setting system according to claim 1 , wherein the first recommended setting information is generated based on the seat position of the user and the usage style such that the first recommended setting information is different when the seat position is a first seat position and the usage style is a first usage style than when the seat position is the first seat position and the usage style is a second usage style different from the first usage style.

       6. An in-vehicle environment setting method comprising the steps executed by a computer system, the steps comprising:
 receiving, from a first vehicle, first setting information regarding a setting for an in-vehicle environment of the first vehicle and first environment information regarding an outdoor environment of the first vehicle in a manner associated with an identity of a user who boards the first vehicle;
 learning a preference of the user related to the setting for the in-vehicle environment based on the first setting information and the first environment information;
 generating recommended setting information regarding a recommended setting for the in-vehicle environment preferred by the user based on a learning result of the preference; and
 transmitting the recommended setting information to a second vehicle which is different from the first vehicle,
 wherein:
 the receiving comprises receiving, from the first vehicle, first usage style information indicating a usage style of the first vehicle by the user and, from the second vehicle, second usage style information indicating a usage style of the second vehicle by the user, wherein the usage style corresponds to whether the vehicle is being used as a private vehicle, a shared vehicle, a taxi, a rideshare vehicle, or a rented vehicle as determined based on at least a seat position of the user and a number of occupants in the vehicle including the user;
 the learning comprises learning a preference of the user related to the setting for the in-vehicle environment for each usage style based on the first setting information, the first environment information, and the first usage style information;
 the generating comprises generating third recommended setting information regarding a recommended setting for an in-vehicle environment of the second vehicle preferred by the user based on (i) the learning result of the preference for each usage style, (ii) differences in behavior of the same user while the user is on board the vehicle wherein the behavior of the same user is different for each usage style, and (iii) the second usage style information; and
 the transmitting comprises transmitting the third recommended setting information to the second vehicle.

       7. An in-vehicle environment setting program that causes a computer system to execute the in-vehicle environment setting method according to claim 6 .
