Claims

Abstract

A communication system may comprise an information processing device and a communication device. Communication between the communication device and the information processing device using the first wireless communication scheme may be performed. The communication device may send the connectable network identification information to the information processing device. Communication between the information processing device and the communication device using the second wireless communication scheme and using the second network may be executed, in case that the first network is not included in one or more networks identified by the connectable network identification information. Communication between the information processing device and the communication device using the second wireless communication scheme and using the first network may be executed, in case that the first network is included in the one or more networks identified by the one or more connectable network identification information.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. A communication device comprising:
 a first wireless interface configured to perform communication with an information processing device using a first wireless communication scheme, the first wireless interface comprising a storage unit that is configured to store specific information, and the first wireless interface being configured to function as an Integrated Circuit tag; 
 a second wireless interface configured to perform communication with the information processing device using a second wireless communication scheme different from the first wireless communication scheme; 
 a specific wireless interface configured to perform communication with the information processing device using a specific wireless communication scheme different from the first wireless communication scheme and the second wireless communication scheme; and 
 a control device coupled to the first wireless interface, the second wireless interface and the specific wireless interface, 
 wherein 
 in a first case where the communication device uses the second wireless interface:
 the first wireless interface is configured to perform sending the specific information, which is stored in the storage unit, to the information processing device, the specific information is information for communicating object data with the information processing device by using the second wireless interface via a first wireless network, and the first wireless network is a network to which the communication device and the information processing device belong, 
 after the specific information has been sent, the control device is configured to perform communicating object data with the information processing device by using the second wireless interface via the first wireless network, 
 
 in a second case where the communication device does not use the second wireless interface:
 the first wireless interface is configured to perform sending specific network identification information to the information processing device, the specific network identification information is information for establishing a specific wireless network by using the specific wireless interface; 
 after the specific network identification information has been sent, the control device is further configured to perform establishing the specific wireless network with the information processing device by using the specific wireless interface; and 
 after the specific wireless network has been established, the control device is further configured to perform communicating object data with the information processing device by using the specific wireless interface via the specific wireless network. 
 
 
     
     
       2. The communication device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the first wireless network is a network in which an access point mediates communication between the communication device and the information processing device. 
 
     
     
       3. The communication device according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the second wireless interface is configured to establish the first wireless network and a second wireless network that is different from the first wireless network, the second wireless network is a network between the information processing device and the communication device without mediation of the access point, 
 in the first case:
 the first wireless interface is further configured to perform sending establishment information for establishing the second wireless network with the information processing device by using the second wireless interface; 
 when the first wireless network does not exist, the second wireless interface is further configured to establish the second wireless network; and 
 after the second wireless network has been established, the control device is configured to perform communicating object data with the information processing device by using the second wireless interface via the second wireless network. 
 
 
     
     
       4. The communication device according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the specific information includes an SSID of the access point. 
 
     
     
       5. The communication device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the second wireless interface is configured to perform communication based on at least one of the standard of 802.11 of IEEE (abbreviation of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.), and a standard equivalent to the standard of 802.11 of IEEE, and 
 the specific wireless interface is an interface executing a communication in accordance with a bluetooth scheme. 
 
     
     
       6. The communication device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the first wireless interface is an interface executing a communication in accordance with a Near Field Communication standard. 
 
     
     
       7. The communication device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the specific information includes communication destination identification information for identifying the communication device. 
 
     
     
       8. The communication device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the specific information includes a MAC address of the communication device. 
 
     
     
       9. The communication device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the specific information includes a node name of the communication device. 
 
     
     
       10. The communication device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the control device is further configured to perform storing new information in the storage unit when a specific condition is satisfied in the communication device. 
 
     
     
       11. The communication device according to  claim 10 , wherein
 the specific condition includes at least one of:
 power state of the communication device shifting from ON to OFF or from OFF to ON; and 
 a state of the communication device shifting from an error state to a non-error state where the error has been resolved or from the non-error state to the error state. 
 
 
     
     
       12. The communication device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the communication device further comprises a printer, 
 the object data includes print data, and 
 the control device is further configured to perform causing the printer to execute a print process using the received print data. 
 
     
     
       13. The communication device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the communication device further comprises a scanner, 
 the object data includes scan data, 
 the control device is further configured to perform causing the scanner to execute a scan process and generate the scan data, and 
 the communicating of the object data includes sending the scan data to the information processing device via the second wireless interface. 
 
     
     
       14. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions for an information processing device,
 the information processing device comprising:
 a first wireless interface configured to perform communication with a specific wireless interface of a communication device using a first wireless communication scheme, the specific wireless interface comprising a storage unit and being configured to function as an Integrated Circuit tag, and the storage unit being configured to store specific information; 
 a second wireless interface configured to perform communication with the communication device using a second wireless communication scheme different from the first wireless communication scheme; 
 a specific wireless interface configured to perform communication with the communication device using a specific wireless communication scheme different from the first wireless communication scheme and the second wireless communication scheme; and 
 a processor, 
 
 wherein in a first case where the communication device uses the second wireless interface, and wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the information processing device to perform:
 receiving the specific information, which is stored in the storage unit, from the communication device by using the first wireless interface,
 the specific information is information for communicating object data with the communication device by using the second wireless interface via a first wireless network, and the first wireless network is a network to which the communication device and the information processing device belong; 
 
 after the specific information has been received, communicating object data with the communication device by using the second wireless interface via the first wireless network; 
 
 wherein in a second case where the communication device does not use the second wireless interface, and wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the information processing device to perform:
 receiving specific network identification information from the communication device by using the first wireless interface, the specific network identification information is information for establishing a specific wireless network by using the specific wireless interface; 
 after the specific network identification information has been received, establishing the specific wireless network with the communication device by using the specific wireless interface; and 
 after the specific wireless network has been established, communicating object data with the communication device by using the specific wireless interface via the specific wireless network. 
 
 
     
     
       15. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to  claim 14 , wherein
 the first wireless network is a network in which an access point mediates communication between the communication device and the information processing device. 
 
     
     
       16. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to  claim 15 , wherein
 the second wireless interface is configured to establish the first wireless network and a second wireless network that is different from the first wireless network, the second wireless network is a network between the information processing device and the communication device without mediation of the access point, 
 in the first case, and wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the information processing device to perform:
 receiving, by using the first wireless interface, establishment information for establishing the second wireless network with the communication device by using the second wireless interface; 
 establishing the second wireless network by using the second wireless interface, when the first wireless network does not exist; and 
 communicating object data with the information processing device by using the second wireless interface via the second wireless network, after the second wireless network has been established. 
 
 
     
     
       17. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to  claim 14 , wherein
 the second wireless interface is configured to perform communication based on at least one of the standard of 802.11 of IEEE (abbreviation of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.), and a standard equivalent to the standard of 802.11 of IEEE, and 
 the specific wireless interface is an interface executing a communication in accordance with a bluetooth scheme. 
 
     
     
       18. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to  claim 14 , wherein
 the first wireless interface is an interface executing a communication in accordance with a Near Field Communication standard. 
 
     
     
       19. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to  claim 14 , wherein
 the specific information includes communication destination identification information for identifying the communication device. 
 
     
     
       20. An information processing device comprising:
 a first wireless interface configured to perform communication with a specific wireless interface of a communication device using a first wireless communication scheme, the specific wireless interface comprising a storage unit and being configured to function as an Integrated Circuit tag, and the storage unit being configured to store specific information; 
 a second wireless interface configured to perform communication with the communication device using a second wireless communication scheme different from the first wireless communication scheme, 
 a specific wireless interface configured to perform communication with the communication device using a specific wireless communication scheme different from the first wireless communication scheme and the second wireless communication scheme; and 
 a control device coupled to the first wireless interface, the second wireless interface and the specific wireless interface, 
 wherein in a first case where the communication device uses the second wireless interface, the control device is configured to perform:
 receiving the specific information, which is stored in the storage unit, from the communication device by using the first wireless interface; and
 the specific information is information for communicating object data with the communication device by using the second wireless interface via a first wireless network, and the first wireless network is a network to which the communication device and the information processing device belong; 
 
 after the specific information has been received, communicating object data with the communication device by using the second wireless interface via the first wireless network; 
 
 wherein in a second case where the communication device does not use the second wireless interface, the control device is configured to perform:
 receiving specific network identification information from the communication device by using the first wireless interface, the specific network identification information is information for establishing a specific wireless network by using the specific wireless interface; 
 after the specific network identification information has been received, establishing the specific wireless network with the communication device by using the specific wireless interface; and 
 after the specific wireless network has been established, communicating object data with the communication device by using the specific wireless interface via the specific wireless network.
