Abstract
A display device is disclosed. The display device of the present disclosure comprises: a roller that extends to be long; a flexible display panel that is wound around the roller or is unwound therefrom; and a module cover which is coupled to the rear of the display panel, and in which a plurality of plates extending long in the longitudinal direction of the roller are sequentially arranged in the direction crossing the longitudinal direction, and which is wound around the roller or unwound therefrom together with the display panel, wherein the module cover comprises: the plurality of plates; a film layer positioned between the display panel and the plurality of plates; and a coating layer which covers the plurality of plates and which is in contact with the film layer.

a roller that is elongated;
a flexible display panel configured to be wound around the roller or unwound therefrom; and
a module cover coupled to a rear side of the flexible display panel, and in which a plurality of plates extending along a longitudinal direction of the roller are arranged along a direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the roller, wherein the module cover is configured to be wound around the roller or unwound therefrom together with the flexible display panel,
wherein the module cover comprises:
the plurality of plates;
a film layer positioned between the flexible display panel and the plurality of plates; and
a coating layer covering the plurality of plates and contacting the film layer,
wherein, when the module cover is wound around the roller, the plurality of plates are overlapping in a radial direction of the roller,
wherein the plurality of plates includes:
a first plate; and
a plurality of second plates,
wherein, when the module cover is wound around the roller,
the first plate forms a straight line, and
a plate of the plurality of second plates forms a curved line, and
wherein, when the module cover is wound around the roller, an interval between a first pair of the plurality of second plates is greater than an interval between a second pair of the plurality of second plates, wherein the first pair is farther from a center of the roller, and the second pair is closer to the center of the roller.
2. The display device of claim 1 , wherein a vertical section of the module cover is formed in a pulse shape.
3. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first plate is plural in number, and
wherein, when the module cover is wound around the roller, an interval between adjacent plates of the plurality of first plates is identical without regard to a distance from the center of the roller.
4. The display device of claim 1 , wherein, when the module cover is wound around the roller, in each of the plurality of plates, a length of a lower surface of the plate is smaller than a length of an upper surface of the plate.
5. The display device of claim 1 , wherein among the plurality of plates,
when the module cover is wound around the roller,
in each plate located within a predetermined distance from a center of the roller, a length of a lower surface of the plate is smaller than a length of an upper surface of the plate, and in each plate located outside the predetermined distance from the center of the roller, a length of a lower surface of the plate is equal to or greater than a length of an upper surface of the plate.
6. The display device of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of plates includes a metallic material.
7. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the film layer includes a Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) material.
8. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the coating layer includes a Teflon material.Cited by (0)
