Abstract
The invention relates to a system and a method for manufacturing a medical package, in particular a foil bag made of plastic. A print image with variable information comprising blank spaces is first applied by means of a thermal transfer printer. The blank spaces are filled by means of a hot stamp printing process.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedThe invention claimed is:
1. A system for manufacturing a medical package, the system comprising:
a first printer comprising a digitally controlled thermal print head comprising a plurality of heating elements, the plurality of heating elements being actuated via a control device and configured to generate a variable print image on a surface of the medical package; and
a hot stamp printer arranged downstream of the first printer, the hot stamp printer comprising a printing plate defining a print relief with a flat section, wherein the flat section is dimensioned and arranged to at least partially overlap with the variable print image.
2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the hot stamp printer is arranged behind the first printer such that a foil tape is configured to be transported from the first printer to the hot stamp printer.
3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the flat section of the print relief is dimensioned and arranged to cover the entire variable print image or lie inside the variable print image.
4. The system of claim 1 , wherein the print relief of the printing plate comprises at least one further section, wherein the further section comprises a structure indicative of static information and is dimensioned and arranged to lie outside of the variable print image, and wherein the structure is selected from a group consisting of letters, digits, symbol, image, barcode, and data matrix code.
5. The system of claim 1 , further comprising a filling station for filling the medical package with a medical liquid and a device for sealing the filled medical package.
6. The system according to claim 5 , further comprising an autoclaving station.
7. Use of the system of claim 1 for manufacturing a medical package made of plastic.
8. The use of a system according to claim 7 , wherein the medical package is a foil bag.
9. A medical package manufactured by the system of claim 1 .
10. The medical package of claim 9 , comprising a first print region with a print image applied using the first printer, wherein at least one blank space defined in at least one section in the print image is filled using the hot stamp printer.
11. The medical package of claim 10 , wherein the at least one blank space is filled with variable and/or static information using the hot stamp printer.
12. The medical package of claim 10 , further comprising a second print region which is applied using the hot stamp printer, wherein the second print region is arranged separate from the first print region, and wherein the second print region includes static information.
13. The medical package of claim 9 , wherein the medical package is formed as a bag.
14. The medical package according to claim 13 , wherein the bag is arranged in a secondary package.
15. The medical package according to claim 14 , wherein the secondary package is formed as a tear-open bag.
16. The medical package of claim 10 , wherein the print image comprises a positive print image and/or a negative print image.
17. The medical package of claim 10 , wherein the first print region is applied by a first ink, the at least one section is filled with a second ink, and the first and second inks adjoin one another directly.Cited by (0)
