Abstract

A method of refraction-correcting ophthalmic surgery in tissue of an eye after at least one previous ophthalmic surgery in the tissue, comprising accessing information on a pre-operative cut and defining a cut surface on the basis of the information on the pre-operative cut of the at least one previous ophthalmic surgery of the tissue of the eye.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
The invention claimed is:

       1. A treatment system for correction of refraction of an eye by ophthalmic surgery, the system comprising:
 a planning station defining at least one cut surface on a basis of corneal measurement data and generating a control dataset for the corneal cut surface;
 a laser device, which receives the control dataset, emits a laser beam from a laser source and directs said beam being directed as a beam focused to a focus located in a cornea of the eye, and a scanner shifting the focus within the cornea to generate the at least one cut in the cornea by deflection of the laser beam based on the control dataset, and
 a logging device which logs a progress of the least one cut generated during the ophthalmic surgery, wherein the logging device includes a data storage for storing logged data.

       2. The treatment system of claim 1 , wherein the laser device emits laser radiation pulses and the logging device logs a position of individual laser radiation pulses focused into the cornea or logs pulse energy of individual laser radiation pulses focused into the cornea.

       3. The treatment system of claim 1 , wherein the logging device logs at least one of the following data: a setting of a laser beam delivery unit, the scanner, and time and cut geometry information.

       4. The treatment system of claim 1 , wherein the laser device emits laser radiation pulses and the logging device logs parameters of the emission of laser radiation pulses and an exact time of any termination of the operation and cut geometry data.

       5. The treatment system of claim 4 , wherein the parameters of the emission of laser radiation pulses include at least one of frequency of the laser radiation pulses and focus shift speed.

       6. The treatment system of claim 1 , further comprising a wave-front measurement device for generating the corneal measurement data.
