Claims
Abstract
A communication method and apparatus relating to the field of communication technologies. The method includes a network device receives at least two packets, and aggregates the at least two packets to obtain aggregated packets. Messages to which the at least two packets separately belong have a same message index. The message index is used to index the messages to which the at least two packets separately belong. In the communication method provided in this application, the network device is used to implement aggregation processing, to reduce a communication delay and data redundancy in a communication network.

1 . A communication method, comprising:
receiving a first packet of a first message from a first terminal device; receiving a second packet of a second message from a second terminal device; aggregating the first packet and the second packet based on a message index to obtain an aggregated packet, wherein the message index is used to aggregate packets from different messages that have matching message indexes, and wherein the message index of the first message and the second message match; and transmitting the aggregated packet to the first terminal device and the second terminal device; wherein when the first packet is an initial packet of the first message, the first packet further comprises a first field indicating a quantity of the packets comprised in the first message; wherein the first packet further comprises a sequence number indicating a transmission sequence of the first packet in a connection for transmitting the first packet, and wherein the method further comprises:
determining the connection for transmitting the first packet;
determining, based on the sequence number and the quantity, a first interval of sequence numbers of packets comprised in the first message, wherein a first end value of the first interval is the sequence number, and wherein a second end value of the first interval is based on the sequence number and the quantity; and
storing a correspondence between the first interval and the connection for transmitting the first packet.
2 . The communication method according to claim 1 , wherein both the first packet and the second packet further comprise a first sequence number.
3 . The communication method according to claim 1 , wherein when the first packet is an initial packet of the first message, the first packet further comprises a first field indicating whether to perform aggregation processing on parameter data in the first message.
4 . The communication method according to claim 1 , wherein when the first packet is an initial packet of the first message, the first packet further comprises a first field indicating the message index.
5 . The communication method according to claim 1 , wherein the first packet further comprises a sequence number indicating a transmission sequence of the first packet in a connection for transmitting the first packet, and wherein the communication method further comprises:
determining, when the first packet is not an initial packet of the first message, the connection for transmitting the first packet.
6 . A communication apparatus, comprising:
a memory configured to store instructions; and one or more processors coupled to the memory and configured to execute the instructions to cause the communication apparatus to:
receive a first packet of a first message from a first terminal device and a second packet of a second message from a second terminal device;
aggregate the first packet and the second packet based on a message index to obtain an aggregated packet, wherein the message index is used to aggregate packets from different messages that have matching message indexes, and wherein the message index of the first message and the second message match; and
transmit the aggregated packet to the first terminal device and the second terminal device;
wherein when the first packet is an initial packet of the first message, the first packet further comprises a field indicating a quantity of the packets comprised in the first message;
wherein the first packet further comprises a sequence number indicating a transmission sequence of the first packet in a connection for transmitting the first packet; and wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:
determine the connection for transmitting the first packet; and
determine, based on the sequence number and the quantity, a first interval of sequence numbers of the packets comprised in the first message, wherein a first end value of the first interval is the sequence number, and wherein a second end value of the first interval is based on the sequence number and the quantity; and
store a correspondence between the first interval and the connection for transmitting the first packet.
7 . The communication apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the both the first packet and the second packet further comprise a first sequence.
8 . The communication apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein when the first packet is an initial packet of the first message, the first packet further comprises a field indicating whether to perform aggregation processing on parameter data in the first message.
9 . The communication apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein when the first packet is an initial packet of the first message, the first packet further comprises a field indicating the message index.Cited by (0)
