Abstract
An exercise machine comprises an organ able to be moved cyclically to exchange power with a user, interfacing means between the movable organ and the user to allow an exercise motion and means for supporting the user for the exercise; the machine comprises at least two portions connected to each other and mutually movable between two stable configurations, respectively: non operative in correspondence with which the two portions define a furnishing structure to cover the movable organ and the interfacing means and operative, for exercising, in correspondence with which at least a portion makes active the movable organ and the interfacing means.

1 . An exercise machine, of the type comprising at least an organ movable cyclically to exchange power with a user, interfacing means between said movable organ and said user in order to allow an exercise motion; means for supporting said user for the exercise, said machine being comprising:
at least two portions connected to each other and mutually movable between two stable configurations, respectively: non operative, in correspondence with which said two portions define a furnishing structure to cover said movable organ and said interfacing means and operative, for exercising, in correspondence with which at least one said portion makes active said movable organ and said interfacing means.
2 . A machine as claimed in claim 1 , wherein one said portion is fixed and the other said portion is movable between said non operative and, respectively, exercising operative configurations.
3 . A machine as claimed in claims 1 and 2 , wherein said first portion defines said support means comprising a backrest, a seat and a base for supporting said backrest and seat; said second portion being defined by a leg rest that is movable, with first actuating means, relative to said first portion between said first operative configuration, in which said leg rest is joined to said first portion to define, therewith, a seat—easy chair supported by said base, and said second configuration for exercising, in which said leg rest is positioned removed from said backrest and said seat to define a free access area between said user and said interfacing means associated to said base.
4 . A machine as claimed in claim 3 , machine comprising control means to regulate power exchanges between said user and said movable organ, wherein said leg rest is provided with said control means accessible in said operative exercising configuration of said leg rest.
5 . A machine as claimed in claim 3 , in which said interfacing means are constituted by a pair of pedals, wherein said pedals can be associated to said base and connected to said movable organ in correspondence with said second operative configuration of said leg rest.
6 . A machine as claimed in claim 3 , in which said interfacing means are constituted by a pair of pedals, wherein said pedals are associated to said base and able to be folded towards it in said non operative configuration.
7 . A machine as claimed in claim 3 , wherein said means for actuating said leg rest comprise at least a guide for the sliding of the leg rest interposed and associated between the leg rest and said base in such a way as to allow the passage of said leg rest from said non operative position, in which said leg rest is in contact with said seat to define an extension thereof, to said operative position, in which said leg rest is removed and raised in substantially vertical position, subsequent to its sliding along said base.
8 . A machine as claimed in claim 1 , comprising at least a massaging device, associated to one of said portions, in order to be in contact with one or more anatomical parts of the user in positions specifically correlated with the anatomy of his/her part placed in contact with said portions.
9 . A machine as claimed in claim 3 , comprising at least a massaging device, associated at least to said backrest, in order to be at least in contact with the back of the user in positions specifically correlated with the anatomy of his/her part placed in contact with said backrest and in order to stimulate said anatomical parts, or specific parts thereof, in correspondence with said operative position of said machine, in ways that are correlated with the training exercise executable on said machine.
