Abstract
The invention provides histidinol dehydrogenase polypeptides and DNA (RNA) encoding histidinol dehydrogenase polypeptides and methods for producing such polypeptides by recombinant techniques. Also provided are methods for utilizing histidinol dehydrogenase polypeptides to screen for antibacterial compounds.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. An isolated polypeptide comprising a fragment of SEQ ID NO:2 comprising at least 50 consecutive amino acids of SEQ ID NO:2 ; wherein said fragment has histidinol dehydrogenase activity.
. A composition comprising the isolated polypeptide of claim 1 and a carrier.
. The isolated polypeptide of claim 1 , wherein the isolated polypeptide comprises a heterologous amino acid sequence fused to the at least 50 consecutive amino acids of SEQ ID NO:2.
. A composition comprising the isolated polypeptide of claim 3 and a carrier.
. An isolated polypeptide comprising a fragment of SEQ ID NO:2 comprising at least 30 consecutive amino acids of SEQ ID NO:2; wherein said fragment has histidinol dehydrogenase activity.
. A composition comprising the isolated polypeptide of claim 5 and a carrier.
. The isolated polypeptide of claim 5 , wherein the isolated polypeptide comprises a heterologous amino acid sequence fused to the at least 30 consecutive amino acids of SEQ ID NO:2.
. A composition comprising the isolated polypeptide of claim 7 and a carrier.
. An isolated polypeptide comprising a fragment of SEQ ID NO:2 comprising at least 50 consecutive amino acids of SEQ ID NO:2; wherein said fragment has the ability to generate antibodies to SEQ ID NO:2.
. A composition comprising the isolated polypeptide of claim 9 and a carrier.
. The isolated polypeptide of claim 9 , wherein the isolated polypeptide comprises a heterologous amino acid sequence fused to the at least 50 consecutive amino acids of SEQ ID NO:2.
. A composition comprising the isolated polypeptide of claim 11 and a carrier.
. An isolated polypeptide comprising a fragment of SEQ ID NO:2 comprising at least 30 consecutive amino acids of SEQ ID NO:2; wherein said fragment has the ability to generate antibodies to SEQ ID NO:2.
. A composition comprising the isolated polypeptide of claim 13 and a carrier.
. The isolated polypeptide of claim 13 , wherein the isolated polypeptide comprises a heterologous amino acid sequence fused to the at least 30 consecutive amino acids of SEQ ID NO:2.
. A composition comprising the isolated polypeptide of claim 15 and a carrier.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
