Abstract

A counter-sheave device for traction cable transportation systems running on guide sheaves is described. In accordance with the present invention the device comprises a spring loaded support ( 2 ) and a sheave ( 4 ) arranged in a plane in which is located at least one near guide sheave on the side opposite the cable in relation to the near guide sheave and sprung means ( 5 ) acting between the support ( 2 ) and the sheave ( 4 ) in the direction of loading of the sheave on the cable.

Transportation system traction cable counter-sheave device running on guide sheaves characterized in that it comprises a spring loaded support ( 2 ) and a sheave ( 4 ) arranged in a plane in which is located at least one near guide sheave and, on the side opposite the cable in relation to the near guide sheave, sprung means ( 5 ) acting between the bracket ( 2 ) and the sheave ( 4 ) in the direction of loading of the sheave on the cable.  
     
     
         2 . Device in accordance with  claim 1  characterized in that the support comprises a bracket ( 2 ) integral with a fixed structure ( 7 ) and a rocker arm ( 3 ) of which one end is articulated with the bracket ( 2 ) and the other end bears in a freely rotating manner the sheave ( 4 ) with the sprung means being arranged between the bracket and an intermediate position between the rotation centers of the arm and the sheave.
