Abstract

A composition including at least one of polyvalent metal silicate and polyvalent metal carbonate and at least one protein. A weight ratio of the at least one polyvalent metal silicate and polyvalent metal carbonate to the at least one protein is from about 50:1 to 1:1.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A composition comprising: 
 at least one of polyvalent metal silicate and polyvalent metal carbonate;    at least one protein; and    wherein a weight ratio of the at least one polyvalent metal silicate and polyvalent metal carbonate to the at least one protein is from about 50:1 to 1:1.    
     
     
         2 . The composition of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one protein comprises soy protein.  
     
     
         3 . The composition of  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 water; and    wood pulp.
