Immunoassay device

Abstract

An immunoassay device which comprises a Chromatography strip having a substrate adhered to the under surface thereof and a protective laminate adhered to the top surface thereof, wherein a space is arranged on the top and/or under surface of at least a partial region of a coloring region of the chromatography strip. The immunoassay device can perform uniform capillary flow of sample solution in the coloring region of a chromatography strip of the immunoassay device and therefore has high detection accuracy.

An immunoassay device which comprises a chromatography strip having a substrate adhered to the under surface thereof and a protective laminate adhered to the top surface thereof, wherein a space is arranged on the top and/or under surface of at least a partial region of a coloring region of said chromatography strip.  
     
     
         2 . The immunoassay device according to  claim 1  wherein said space is arranged by preventing said partial region from adhering to an area of at least one of surfaces of the protective laminate and substrate which area faces on said partial region.  
     
     
         3 . The immunoassay device according to  claim 2  wherein said prevention of said partial region from adhering to said area of at least one of said surfaces of the protective laminate and substrate which area faces on said partial region is carried out by not applying a paste to said area of at least one of said surfaces.  
     
     
         4 . The immunoassay device according to  claim 2  wherein said prevention of said partial region from adhering to said area of at least one of said surfaces of the protective laminate and substrate which area faces on said partial region is carried out by applying an agent capable of invalidating adhesive property of a paste to said area of at least one of said surfaces.  
     
     
         5 . The immunoassay device according to  claim 1  wherein said space is arranged by making a concave on said area of at least one of said surfaces of said protective laminate and substrate which area faces on said partial region.  
     
     
         6 . The immunoassay device according to  claim 1  wherein said space is arranged by inserting a thin film between said partial region and said area of at least one of surfaces of said protective laminate and substrate which area faces on said partial region.  
     
     
         7 . The immunoassay device according to  claim 1  wherein said space is arranged by sticking said chromatography strip on at least one of said protective laminate and substrate at two or more of discontinued places of said chromatography strip excluding said partial region.  
     
     
         8 . The immunoassay device according to  claim 1  wherein said space is arranged by such a manner that said protective laminate or substrate does not cover said partial region.
