Abstract
An organizer preferably for painters or wall paper hangers to hold materials and tools has a work area, paint, can, bucket and lid receptacles. The work area and receptacles provide reservoirs for collecting spills and drips.

1 . An organizer, comprising:
a work surface; a receptacle proximate the work surface; and a barrier about at least a portion of the work surface and the receptacle for obstructing the movement of a fluid from inside the barrier.
2 . The organizer as set forth in claim 1 further comprising a tray.
3 . The organizer as set forth in claim 2 wherein the tray includes dividers.
4 . The organizer as set forth in claim 1 wherein the receptacle is configured to receive a container.
5 . The organizer as set forth in claim 4 wherein the receptacle is configured to receive a one gallon container.
6 . The organizer as set forth in claim 5 wherein the receptacle has an outer radius just greater than the radius of a standard one gallon paint can.
7 . The organizer as set forth in claim 4 wherein the receptacle is configured to receive a one quart container.
8 . The organizer as set forth in claim 7 wherein the receptacle has a container holding portion having a radius just greater than the radius of a standard one quart paint can.
9 . The organizer as set forth in claim 4 wherein the receptacle is configured to receive one or more containers, wherein the containers are of different sizes.
10 . The organizer as set forth in claim 9 wherein the receptacle is configured to receive either a one gallon container or a one quart container.
11 . The organizer as set forth in claim 10 wherein the portion of the receptacle receiving the one gallon container is approximately ¾ as deep as the portion of the receptacle receiving the one quart container.
12 . The organizer as set forth in claim 4 wherein the receptacle is configured to receive the lid of a container.
13 . The organizer as set forth in claim 12 wherein the receptacle further includes a space for accessing the lid for removal from the receptacle.
14 . The organizer as set forth in claim 4 wherein the receptacle is configured to receive a container.
15 . The organizer as set forth in claim 4 wherein the receptacle is configured to receive a container and a lid.
16 . The organizer as set forth in claim 15 wherein the container rests on a shoulder within the receptacle so as to maintain a space between the bottom of the container and any lid located in the bottom of the receptacle.
17 . The organizer as set forth in claim 16 wherein the container is a bucket.
18 . The organizer as set forth in claim 17 wherein the bucket is a five quart bucket and the radius of the receptacle is slightly larger than the radius of the bucket and the depth of the shoulder is approximately ¾ as deep as the receptacle.
19 . The organizer as set forth in claim 1 further comprising a tool support.
