Abstract
Methods for preparing a wet granule formulation of paroxetine hydrochloride are disclosed. The formulations are suitable for tabletting and capsulation.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An aqueous or aqueous/alcohol solution of paroxetine which contains at least 75 mg paroxetine/ml.
2 . The solution of claim 1 which contains at least 200 mg/ml of paroxetine.
3 . The solution of claim 2 which contains at least 300 mg/ml of paroxetine.
4 . The solution of claim 3 which further contains at least one acidulent and at least one water dispersible polymer.
5 . The solution of claim 4 which contains ethanol up to a concentration of 25% v/v.
6 . A method to prepare a solution with a high concentration of paroxetine which method comprises dissolving paroxetine hydrochloride amorphous in water or in a water/alcohol solvent.
7 . The method of claim 6 wherein said solvent further includes at least one acidulent and at least one water dispersible polymer.
8 . The method of claim 7 wherein the acidulent is citric acid and the water dispersible polymer is polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP).Cited by (0)
