Positioning device of sinking pump

Abstract

A positioning device of a sinking pump has a body. The body is formed with a receiving portion. A pad made of elastic material can be received in the receiving portion. The pad is inflatable as being filled with fluid and then expands to resist against the peripheral wall of the channel for installing a sinking pump so as to isolate the channel and position the sinking pump. Water from the sinking pump may be drained out from a hole penetrating through the body.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A positioning device of a sinking pump having a body, the body having a hole axially penetrating the body; the body being connected to a sinking pump, thereby, pumping water from the sinking pump and the pumping water flowing through the hole upwards; the body having a receiving portion; the receiving portion being installed with a pad made of an elastic material; wherein the pad is inflatable as being filled with fluid and then expands to resist against the peripheral wall of the channel for installing the sinking pump so as to isolate the channel and position the sinking pump.  
     
     
         2 . The positioning device of a sinking pump as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein two lateral walls extend from the receiving portion; the pad has an annular shape and has a C shape cross section; the receiving portion, the two lateral walls and the pad define an annular closing space; the closing space has a mouth passing through the lateral wall to protrude out from the mouth of the body; therefore, liquid is filled into the closing space from the mouth so that the pad expands outwards.  
     
     
         3 . The positioning device of a sinking pump as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the receiving portion is extended with a wall; the pad is a hollow ring, a side of the body corresponding to the wall is locked with a cover plate; a cover plate as well as the wall serves to clamp the pad into the receiving portion; the pad has a valve mouth; wherein the mouth is filled with fluid and the fluid flows to the hollow pad, thereby, the pad expanding outwards.  
     
     
         4 . The positioning device of a sinking pump as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein an end of the pump corresponding to the sinking pump has a plug, the plug covers the hole by the weight thereof as the sinking pump is not actuated.  
     
     
         5 . The positioning device of a sinking pump as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the body has a suspending frame for suspending the body.  
     
     
         6 . The positioning device of a sinking pump as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the pad has stoppers corresponding to the two lateral walls for resisting against inner edges of the two lateral walls.  
     
     
         7 . The positioning device of a sinking pump as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein each of the two lateral walls has a respective annular buckling groove; the pad has flanges corresponding to the buckling groove of the two lateral wall, thereby, each flange is engaged with a respective buckling groove.  
     
     
         8 . The positioning device of a sinking pump as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein each of outer sides of two lateral walls have a respective annular buckling groove; outer sides of the two lateral walls are locked with cover plates, respectively; the pad has an annular shape and has a C shape cross section; the pad has flanges corresponding to and compensated to the buckling grooves, thereby, each flange of the pad is stopped by the cover plate and is buckled in and fixed in the two buckling grooves.
