Water gate opened and closed by oil pressure
Abstract
A water gate opened and closed by oil pressure includes a gate frame having a vertical guide rail on top for an elevating rod to slide up and down. The elevating rod has its lower end connected to the top of a gate body and its upper end inserted in the guide rail and pivotally connected with a swing lever, having rollers provided on a roller shaft for the elevating rod to slide smoothly in the guide rail. The gate body has pulleys provided on two opposite sides to engage the rails of the gate frame, permitting the gate body to smoothly slide up and down along the rails. Then, an oil pressure system controls the piston rod of an oil pressure cylinder to drive the swing lever and the elevating rod to move up and down, synchronously forcing the gate body open and close.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A water gate opened and closed by oil pressure comprising a gate frame, a gate body and an oil pressure system; and,
Characterized by a guide rail fixed on a top center of said gate frame, an elevating rod having its lower end connected with said gate body and its upper end inserted in said guide rail and connected pivotally with a swing lever therein, two rollers connected with a roller shaft, said roller shat pivotally connecting an upper end of said elevating rod and a swing lever; said swing lever pulling up and down said elevating rod to slide smoothly along said guide rail, said swing lever having its bottom center portion pivotally connected with a piston rod of an oil pressure cylinder and its outward end connected pivotally with a support rod; said gate body provided with a pair of rollers on each outer side fitted in said gate frame for said gate body to smoothly slide along the frame rails of said gate frame, and plural water seals respectively provided on two wing surfaces of said gate body to prevent water leaking; said oil pressure system pumping oil to activate said piston rod of said oil pressure cylinder to move up and down and drive said swing lever to sway biasly to pull or push said elevating rod to slide along said guide rail in a fixed direction by means of said rollers, at the same time said gate body also forced to slide up and down along said rails of said gate frame by means of said rollers, said support rod slanting inward or outward to match with the bias moving of said swing lever.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
