Claims

Abstract

A single sheet collecting device for stacking sheets of paper or plastic has at least one transport element and at least one stop unit arranged in a transport path of the sheets. First and second deflecting parts are arranged along the transport path of the sheets for moving the sheets during transport for a moment out of a transport plane of the sheets. The first and second deflecting parts are adjustable from a first position for top stacking the sheets into a second position for bottom stacking the sheets and vice versa.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A single sheet collecting device for stacking sheets of paper or plastic, the collecting device comprising: 
 at least one transport element ( 2 ,  3 ,  4 ,  5 );    at least one stop unit ( 6 ,  7 ) arranged in a transport path of the sheets;    first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) arranged along the transport path of the sheets and configured to move the sheets during transport for a moment out of a transport plane of the sheets;    wherein the first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) are adjustable alternatingly in a first position for top stacking the sheets and in a second position for bottom stacking the sheets.    
     
     
         2 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) are adjustable synchronously.  
     
     
         3 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) are pivotable.  
     
     
         4 . The collecting device according to  claim 3 , wherein the first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) have a common pivot axis ( 21 ).  
     
     
         5 . The collecting device according to  claim 4 , wherein the pivot axis ( 21 ) is located approximately at the level of the transport path of the sheets.  
     
     
         6 . The collecting device according to  claim 4 , wherein the pivot axis ( 21 ) is positioned transversely to a transport direction (P) of the sheets.  
     
     
         7 . The collecting device according to  claim 6 , wherein the pivot axis ( 21 ) is positioned perpendicularly to the transport direction (P) of the sheets.  
     
     
         8 . The collecting device according to  claim 4 , wherein the at least one transport element ( 2 ,  3 ,  4 ,  5 ) and the pivot axis ( 21 ) are positioned in planes parallel to one another.  
     
     
         9 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) is a deflecting roller.  
     
     
         10 . The collecting device according to claim , wherein at least one of the first and second deflecting parts has at least one circumferential groove ( 13 ,  14 ;  15 ,  16 ) configured to receive the at least one transport element ( 2 ,  3 ,  4 ,  5 ).  
     
     
         11 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) comprises an axle ( 17 ,  18 ), respectively.  
     
     
         12 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) comprise an axle ( 17 ,  18 ), respectively, wherein the axles ( 17 ,  18 ) are arranged on opposite sides of a transport plane of the sheets.  
     
     
         13 . The collecting device according to  claim 12 , further comprising at least one pivot arm ( 19 ,  20 ) connected to the axles ( 17 ,  18 ).  
     
     
         14 . The collecting device according to  claim 13 , wherein the first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) have a common pivot axis ( 21 ) and wherein the common pivot axis ( 21 ) extends through the at least one pivot arm ( 19 ,  20 ) at an off-center location.  
     
     
         15 . The collecting device according to  claim 14 , wherein the common pivot axis ( 21 ) is positioned approximately at half a length of the at least one pivot arm ( 19 ,  20 ) in an area between a longitudinal center plane of the at least one pivot arm ( 19 ,  20 ) and a neighboring edge ( 22 ) of the at least one pivot arm ( 19 ,  20 ).  
     
     
         16 . The collecting device according to  claim 15 , wherein the at least one pivot arm ( 19 ,  20 ) is plate-shaped.  
     
     
         17 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein at least two of the first deflecting parts are provided.  
     
     
         18 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein at least two of the second deflecting parts are provided.  
     
     
         19 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein at least two of the first deflecting parts and two of the second deflecting parts are provided.  
     
     
         20 . The collecting device according to  claim 19 , wherein the two first deflecting parts have a first spacing from one another, viewed in a transport direction (P) of the sheets, and wherein the two seconds deflecting parts have a second spacing from one another, viewed in the transport direction (P) of the sheets, wherein the first spacing is smaller than the second spacing.  
     
     
         21 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the second deflecting parts ( 11 ,  12 ), viewed in a transport direction (P) of the sheets, are arranged between the first deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ).  
     
     
         22 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein, for top stacking of the sheets, viewed in a transport direction (P) of the sheets, a rearward one ( 9 ,  10 ) of the first and second deflecting parts has an edge ( 25 ) projecting into the transport path of the sheets.  
     
     
         23 . The collecting device according to  claim 22 , wherein, for top stacking of the sheets, viewed in a transport direction (P) of the sheets, a forward one of the first and second deflecting parts is a holding-down element for an incoming sheet.  
     
     
         24 . The collecting a bias according to  claim 1 , wherein, for bottom stacking of the sheets, viewed in the transport direction (P) of the sheets, a rearward one of the first and second deflecting parts has an edge ( 26 ) projecting into the transport path of the sheets.  
     
     
         25 . The collecting device according to  claim 24 , wherein, for bottom stacking of the sheets, viewed in the transport direction (P) of the sheets, a forward one of the first and second deflecting parts is a support for an incoming sheet.  
     
     
         26 . The collecting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first and second deflecting parts ( 9 ,  10 ;  11 ,  12 ) are parts of a deflecting device ( 8 ).  
     
     
         27 . The collecting device according to  claim 26 , wherein the deflecting device ( 8 ) is motorically adjustable.  
     
     
         28 . The collecting device according to  claim 26 , wherein the deflecting device ( 8 ) is motorically adjustable in at least one of a transport direction (P) of the sheets and a direction transverse to the transport direction (P) of the sheets.
