Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What I claim my invention is:

1 . The Fish & Putt Fun Club which is made from a golf putter, closed faced push button spinning reel, fishing line, two spincast line guides and a fishing lure or golf ball with a countersunk screw to attach the golf ball to the fishing line. The head of the golf putter has a ⅛-inch hole drilled vertically through it to facilitate attachment of a fishing lure.

2 . When configured in accordance with drawing number 1 of this utility patent application, one can use this device to cast a fishing lure into a golf course water hazard or other ponds, lakes or streams as desired. One simply pushes and holds down the line release button, makes the cast and releases the button to allow the fishing lure to travel through the air, pulling the fishing line with it into the water and is then reeled back by turning the handle on the fishing reel in a clockwise direction. (Dependant upon claim 1)

3 . When configured in accordance with drawing number 2 of this utility patent application, one can use this device to practice the art of putting the golf ball without having to walk to the ball and pick it up. One just has to push and release the line release button on the fishing reel, make the putt by striking the ball with the head of the putter, wait for the ball to stop rolling and reel the ball back to the putter by turning the handle on the reel in a clockwise direction. (Dependant upon claim 1)

4 . When configured in accordance with drawing number 1 of this utility patent application, one can actually use the Fish & Putt Fun Club for the purpose of putting in the game of golf by running the fishing line back across the bottom of the putter and up to the upper eyelet where the lure can be stowed by attaching the hook to the eyelet and turning the handle on the reel to remove the slack in the line. This leaves the putter face clear to be used for putting. While playing the game of golf with the Fish & Putt Fun Club configured this way, one is free to unhook and cast the fishing lure into water hazards or other bodies of water as desired. (Dependant upon claim 1)
