Cosmetic case

Abstract

A cosmetic case including a cosmetic material and a base including a first cavity having the cosmetic material therein. The cosmetic case further including a lid that is secured to the base. Both the base and lid having exposed surfaces that are covered in a cloth material. A first magnetic material secured to the base and a second magnetic material secured to the lid that urge the lid to a position covering the cosmetic material. A first magnetic material is secured to the base and a second magnetic material is secured to the lid, each of which urge the lid to a position covering the cosmetic material.

I/we claim:  
     
         1 . A cosmetic case comprising: 
 a cosmetic material;    a base including a first cavity having the cosmetic material therein, said base having exposed surfaces; and    a lid having exposed surfaces and being secured to the base, the exposed surfaces of the base and lid being covered in a cloth material.    
     
     
         2 . The cosmetic case of  claim 1  further comprising: 
 a first hinge securing the lid to the base, the first hinge having exposed surfaces covered in the cloth material, the lid being pivotable between a first position covering the cosmetic material and a second position exposing the cosmetic material.  
 
     
     
         3 . The cosmetic case of  claim 2  wherein the base, lid and first hinge are constructed of a cardboard material.  
     
     
         4 . The cosmetic case of  claim 2  wherein a material of the base, lid and first hinge is selected from the group consisting of cardboard, polymeric sheet and metallic sheet.  
     
     
         5 . The cosmetic case of  claim 2  wherein a mirror is secured to the lid such that a reflective face of the mirror is exposed when the lid is in the second position.  
     
     
         6 . The cosmetic case of  claim 1  wherein the cloth material is selected from the group consisting of faux-leather, suede, leather, denim, polyester and cotton.  
     
     
         7 . A cosmetic case comprising: 
 a cosmetic material;    a base including a cavity having the cosmetic material therein; 
 a lid secured to the base, the lid being pivotable between a first position covering the cosmetic material and a second position exposing the cosmetic material;  
 a first magnetic material secured to the base; and  
 a second magnetic material secured to the lid wherein the first and second magnetic materials urge the lid toward the first position.  
   
     
     
         8 . The cosmetic case of  claim 7  wherein the first and second magnetic materials are comprised of magnets.  
     
     
         9 . The cosmetic case of  claim 7  wherein the base and lid have exposed surfaces, the exposed surfaces and magnetic materials being covered by a cloth material.  
     
     
         10 . A cosmetic case comprising: 
 a first and second cosmetic materials;    a base including first and second voids having the first and second cosmetic materials respectively therein; 
 a first lid secured to the base and being pivotable between a first position covering the first cosmetic material and a second position exposing the first cosmetic material; and  
 a second lid secured to the base and being pivotable between a closed position covering the second cosmetic material and an open position exposing the second cosmetic material.  
   
     
     
         11 . The cosmetic case of  claim 10  further comprising: 
 a first hinge securing the first lid to the base and  
 a second hinge securing the second lid to the base.  
 
     
     
         12 . The cosmetic case of  claim 11  wherein the base, first lid, second lid, first hinge and second hinge have exposed surfaces, the exposed surfaces being covered in a cloth material.  
     
     
         13 . The cosmetic case of  claim 10  wherein the first cosmetic material and the second cosmetic material are superposed with respect to each other.  
     
     
         14 . The cosmetic case of  claim 13  wherein the first and second cosmetic materials are selected from the group consisting of powder, foundation, blush, concealer, eyeshadow, lipstick and lip loss.  
     
     
         15 . The cosmetic case of  claim 13  further comprising: 
 a first magnetic material secured to the base;  
 a second magnetic material secured to the first lid wherein the first and second magnetic materials urge the first lid toward first position;  
 a third magnetic material secured to the base; and  
 a fourth magnetic material secured to the second lid wherein the second and third magnetic materials urge the second lid toward the closed position.
