Abstract
A method and system for creating a personalized delivery payment coding includes selecting from a set of designs for the delivery payment coding ( 410 ), calculating an appropriate fee ( 415 ), paying an appropriate fee ( 420 ), and printing a selected design on delivery payment coding product paper ( 425 ).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
. A method for creating a personalized delivery payment coding, comprising:
selecting at least one of a set of designs for incorporation into the delivery payment coding; calculating an appropriate fee; paying the appropriate fee; and printing a selected design on delivery payment coding product paper.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the set of designs comprise at least one of the following: a set of pre-approved designs, and a set of designs imputed by a user approved by a delivery system operator.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein a user completes the stages on a user computer, wherein the user computer and a delivery system operator communicate over a network.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein a user orders the personalized delivery payment coding from a delivery system operator, wherein the delivery system operator prints the personalized delivery payment coding and sends the personalized delivery payment coding to the user.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein a user orders the personalized delivery payment coding from a licensee of a delivery system operator, and wherein the licensee prints the personalized delivery payment coding.
. The method of claim 5 , wherein the licensee communicates with the delivery system operator over a network.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises at least one of the following: a denomination of delivery payment indicated on the personalized delivery payment coding, and a delivery payment rate class indicated on the personalized delivery payment coding.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the delivery payment coding product paper comprises control markings.
. The method of claim 8 , wherein the control markings comprise serial numbers.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises machine readable markings.
. The method of claim 10 , wherein the machine readable markings comprise phosphor.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises microprinted text across a face of the personalized delivery payment coding.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the delivery payment coding product paper comprises a security thread.
. A system for creating a personalized delivery payment coding, comprising:
a component for selecting at least one of a set of designs for incorporation into the delivery payment coding; a component for calculating an appropriate fee; a component for paying the appropriate fee; and a component for printing a selected design on delivery payment coding product paper.
. The system of claim 14 , wherein the set of designs comprise at least one of the following: a set of pre-approved designs, and a set of designs imputed by a user approved by a delivery system operator.
. The system of claim 14 , wherein a user completes the stages on a user computer, wherein the user computer and a delivery system operator communicate over a network.
. The system of claim 14 , wherein a user orders the personalized delivery payment coding from a delivery system operator, wherein the delivery system operator prints the personalized delivery payment coding and sends the personalized delivery payment coding to the user.
. The system of claim 14 , wherein a user orders the personalized delivery payment coding from a licensee of a delivery system operator, and wherein the licensee prints the personalized delivery payment coding.
. The system of claim 18 , wherein the licensee communicates with the delivery system operator over a network.
. The system of claim 14 , wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises at least one of the following: a denomination of delivery payment indicated on the personalized delivery payment coding, and a delivery payment rate class indicated on the personalized delivery payment coding.
. The system of claim 14 , wherein the delivery payment coding product paper comprises control markings.
. The system of claim 21 , wherein the control markings comprise serial numbers.
. The system of claim 14 , wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises machine readable markings.
. The system of claim 23 , wherein the machine readable markings comprise phosphor.
. The system of claim 14 , wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises microprinted text across a face of the personalized delivery payment coding.
. The system of claim 14 , wherein the delivery payment coding product paper comprises a security thread.
. A computer-readable medium on which is stored a set of instructions for creating a personalized delivery payment coding, which when executed perform stages comprising:
selecting at least one of a set of designs for incorporation into the delivery payment coding; calculating an appropriate fee; paying the appropriate fee; and printing a selected design on delivery payment coding product paper.
. The computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the set of designs comprise at least one of the following: a set of pre-approved designs, and a set of designs imputed by a user approved by a delivery system operator.
. The computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises at least one of the following: a denomination of delivery payment indicated on the personalized delivery payment coding, and a delivery payment rate class indicated on the personalized delivery payment coding.
. The computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the delivery payment coding product paper comprises control markings.
. The computer-readable medium of claim 30 , wherein the control markings comprise serial numbers.
. The computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises machine readable markings.
. The computer-readable medium of claim 32 , wherein the machine readable markings comprise phosphor.
. The computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises microprinted text across a face of the personalized delivery payment coding.
. The computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the delivery payment coding product paper comprises a security thread.
. A method for creating a personalized delivery payment coding, comprising:
selecting at least one of a set of designs for incorporation into the delivery payment coding, wherein the set of designs comprise at least one of the following: a set of pre-approved designs, and a set of designs imputed by a user approved by a delivery system operator; calculating an appropriate fee; paying the appropriate fee; printing a selected design on delivery payment coding product paper, wherein the delivery payment coding product paper comprises control markings comprising serial numbers and a security thread; wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises at least one of the following: a denomination of delivery payment indicated on the personalized delivery payment coding, and a delivery payment rate class indicated on the personalized delivery payment coding; wherein the personalized delivery payment coding comprises machine readable markings comprising phosphor and microprinted text across a face of the personalized delivery payment coding; and wherein a user completes the stages on a user computer, wherein the user computer and a delivery system operator communicate over a network.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
