Abstract

A baby bathtub supporter for supporting a baby bathtub above a basin having an inner surface and an upper lip, the baby bathtub supporter comprising a board with a top surface and a bottom surface and an outer edge, and a stopper extending from the bottom surface and which contacts the inner surface of the basin.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A baby bathtub supporter for supporting a baby bathtub above a basin having an inner surface and an upper lip, said baby bathtub supporter comprising: 
 (a) a board with a top surface and a bottom surface and an outer edge; and    (b) a stopper extending from said bottom surface and which contacts said inner surface of said basin.    
     
     
         2 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 1  wherein said stopper is adjustable to secure said supporter to a plurality of different sized basins.  
     
     
         3 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 1  wherein said stopper comprises a suction cup.  
     
     
         4 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 1  wherein said stopper comprises an extension rod.  
     
     
         5 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 1  wherein said top surface of said board comprises a non-skid surface.  
     
     
         6 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 1  wherein said bottom surface of said board sits on said upper lip of said basin, near said outer edge of said board.  
     
     
         7 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 1  wherein said board comprises a passage to fit at least one of a faucet and water flowing from said faucet.  
     
     
         8 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 1  wherein said board comprises an opening to allow a user to handle said baby bathtub supporter.  
     
     
         9 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 3  wherein said suction cup is adjustable to contact said inner surface of said basin.  
     
     
         10 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 1  further comprising a stand for storing said baby bathtub supporter in a vertical direction.  
     
     
         11 . The baby bathtub supporter of  claim 1  further comprising a connecting apparatus for securing an object to said baby bathtub supporter.  
     
     
         12 . A baby bathtub system, said baby bathtub system comprising: 
 (a) a baby bathtub;    (b) a basin with an inner surface and an upper lip;    (c) a board with a top surface and a bottom surface and an outer edge;    (d) a stopper extending from said bottom surface and which contacts said inner surface of said basin;    (e) wherein said board is position on said basin where said bottom surface of said board contacts said upper lip of said basin and said stopper contacts said inner surface of said basin; and    (f) wherein said baby bathtub is placed on said top surface of said board.    
     
     
         13 . The baby bathtub system of  claim 12  wherein said stopper is adjustable to secure said system to a plurality of different sized basins.  
     
     
         14 . The baby bathtub system of  claim 12  wherein said top surface of said board comprises a non-skid surface.  
     
     
         15 . The baby bathtub system of  claim 12  wherein said board comprises a passage to fit at least one of a faucet and water flowing from said faucet.  
     
     
         16 . A baby bathtub apparatus for use over a basin, said apparatus comprising: 
 (a) a baby bathtub with a side wall and a base;    (b) a board having an outer edge and a bottom surface, connected to said baby bathtub, extending from said base of said baby bathtub beyond said side wall;    (c) a stopper extending from said bottom surface of said board;    (d) wherein said board connected to said baby bathtub is placed across said basin and is held in place by said stopper.    
     
     
         17 . The baby bathtub apparatus of  claim 16  wherein said board is extendable and contractible to reach across a plurality of different sized basins.  
     
     
         18 . The baby bathtub apparatus of  claim 16  wherein said stopper is adjustable to secure said apparatus to a plurality of sized basins.  
     
     
         19 . The baby bathtub apparatus of  claim 16  wherein said stopper comprises a suction cup.  
     
     
         20 . The baby bathtub apparatus of  claim 16  wherein said stopper comprises an extension rod.
