Abstract

The hydraulic Plunger is a device based on the hydraulic principal of: PRESSURE=FORCE/AREA When you apply pressure to a closed cylinder, (the waste water system pipes) plugged at one end by the obstruction), fill it with water and seal the other end by the rubber plug (held in position by the force applied by the operator). A force; variable according to the area of the system begin cleared and the pressure used; is exerted on the obstruction, pushing it out of the way into a bigger diameter pipes, clearing the system. The water pressure is supplied by the home water system, connected to the Hydraulic Plunger by a garden hose and controlled by the use of a glove valve.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What I claim as my invention is:

1 . Use of a hydraulic device for home use to unplug the total waste water system up to 4 inches in diameter, toilets, washbasin, kitchen-sinks, and floor drains by supplying tap water pressure (home water supply pressure) and simultaneously sealing the drain orifices where the device is use, to eliminate the obstructions.
