Stringed instrument case

Abstract

A stringed instrument case comprises a case body and a cover, wherein an internal member made of a foam resin is arranged inside of the case body to form a storage hollow allowing a stringed instrument to be stored therein. A body fixing member for fixing a body of the stringed instrument at a prescribed position is arranged and adequately positioned in the storage hollow in response to the size of the body, and a neck fixing member having a plurality of neck reception portions each capable of receiving a tip end portion of a neck of the stringed instrument is arranged in the storage hollow with a prescribed distance apart from the body fixing member, wherein the neck fixing member can be adjusted in position in the longitudinal direction of the case body.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A stringed instrument case comprising: 
 a case body that is formed in a rectangular box-like shape whose upper portion is opened and that has a storage hollow for storing a stringed instrument therein;    a case that is interconnected with the case body via hinges to be freely closed and opened;    a body fixing member for fixing a body of the stringed instrument at a prescribed position, which is arranged in the storage hollow of the case body; and    a neck fixing member for fixing a neck of the stringed instrument at a prescribed position, which is arranged in the storage hollow of the case body while being separated from the body fixing member at a prescribed distance therebetween in accordance with a length of the stringed instrument.    
     
     
         2 . A stringed instrument case according to  claim 1 , wherein the body fixing member has an elongated concave on an upper surface thereof to accommodate a base end portion of the neck of the stringed instrument.  
     
     
         3 . A stringed instrument case according to  claim 1 , wherein the neck fixing member is freely movable in a longitudinal direction of the case body.  
     
     
         4 . A stringed instrument according to  claim 1 , wherein a plurality of neck reception portions are formed on an upper surface of the neck fixing member to respectively receive a tip end portion of the neck of the stringed instrument.
