Abstract

A toothbrush with a laterally oriented head in which a handle and a head are in a T shape, and an overall upper surface of bristles on the head is in an arc shape, wherein the overall upper surface ( 3 a ) of the bristles ( 3 ) on the head ( 2 ) is formed with a curvature radius of approximately 15 mm that is centered on a point of intersection between an axial center (X) of the handle ( 1 ) and an undersurface ( 2 a ) of the head ( 2 ) or on a point of intersection (Y) between the axial center (X) of the handle ( 1 ) and an arbitrary line that is parallel to the undersurface ( 2 a ) of the head ( 2 ) and is between the bristles ( 3 ) and the undersurface ( 2 a ) The overall upper surface ( 3 a ) of the bristles ( 3 ) in an arc-shape is inclined toward the handle ( 1 ).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A toothbrush with a laterally oriented head wherein a handle and head of the toothbrush are formed substantially in a T shape, and an overall upper surface of bristles on the head is in an arc shape, and wherein
a shape of the overall upper surface of the bristles on the head is formed with a curvature radius of approximately 15 mm that is centered on one of:
a point of intersection between an axial center of the handle and an undersurface of the head, and
a point of intersection between the axial center of the handle and an arbitrary line that is parallel to the undersurface of the head and is between the bristles and the undersurface; and
the overall upper surface of the bristles is formed in an arc-shape that is inclined toward the handle.

2 . A toothbrush with a laterally oriented head wherein a handle and head of the toothbrush are formed substantially in a T shape, and an overall upper surface of bristles on the head is in an arc shape that is centered on an axial center of the handle, and wherein a lateral width of the head is set at substantially 20 mm to 15 mm.

3 . A toothbrush with a laterally oriented head wherein a handle and head of the toothbrush are formed substantially in a T shape, and an overall upper surface of bristles on the head is in an arc shape that is centered on an axial center of the handle; and wherein
a lateral width of bristles on the head is set at substantially 20 mm to 15 mm, portions of the bristles formed in an arc shape that are located on a neck side are formed in a circular arc that has a smaller curvature radius which is concentric with a curvature radius of said arc shape, and a part of an overall upper surface of the bristles is formed in a gradual curve along a width dimension of the bristles toward said circular arc.

4 . A toothbrush with a laterally oriented head wherein a handle and head of the toothbrush are formed substantially in a T shape, and an overall upper surface of bristles on the head is in an arc shape, and wherein
a portion of the handle that extends from an end of the handle to a point approximately halfway along a total length of the handle including the head is formed as a grip whose cross-sectional shape is substantially semicircular, an appropriate length of the handle from a tip end of the head is formed as a cylindrical neck that has an appropriate diameter, a gradually curved inclined portion of said neck and handle is provided, and a recessed portion is formed between neck and the head.
