Structure table leg
Abstract
An improved structure assembly-type table leg that in addition to facilitating shipping, affords exceptional sturdiness and greater attractiveness when assembled. To provide for freight forwarding convenience, a slot is articulated in a predetermined area along the end sections of frame members, a quantity of holes are arrayed in the same end sections, and an opening is formed in each of the two adjacent sides at the top end of the table leg members. The span of the opening is directly proportional to the width of the frame member, enabling the insertion of the frame member and the mortising of the slot within the opening such that the top ends of the frame members and the table leg members are even with each other when they are assembled. The fastening screws utilized to assemble the invention herein are not visible, effectively enhancing exterior appearance, while supporting assembly and disassembly to conserve space and facilitate shipping.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An improved structure table leg comprised of a plurality of frame members and a plurality of table leg members; each said frame member is assembled to another said frame member by means of screws, following which conjoined pairs of said frame members are fastened to a said table leg member with the said screws; the main feature is that a slot is articulated in a predetermined area along the end sections of the said frame members, an opening is formed in each of the two adjacent sides at the top end of the said table leg members, and the span of the said opening is directly proportional to the width of the said frame member, enabling the insertion of the said frame member and the mortising of the said slot within the said opening such that the top ends of the said frame members and the said table leg members are even with each other when they are assembled.
2 . As mentioned in claim 1 of the improved structure table leg of the invention herein, each of the said openings in the said table leg members has a laterally disposed hole.
3 . As mentioned in claim 1 of the improved structure table leg of the invention herein, each said frame member is fabricated with a quantity of holes arrayed in a predetermined area at the end section.
4 . As mentioned in claim 1 of the improved structure table leg of the invention herein, the said screws that conjoin the said table leg members to the said frame members are fastened inside the said table leg members.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
