Abstract
The compressor assembly includes a compressor and a controller mounted on the compressor and operable to monitor operational characteristics of the compressor. The controller also controls the compressor unloader, liquid injection, oil injection and/or a crankcase heater.

1 . A compressor assembly comprising:
a compressor; a compressor unloader operable to control compressor capacity; and a controller mounted on said compressor and operable to monitor operational characteristics of said compressor and control said compressor unloader.
2 . The compressor assembly of claim 1 , wherein said compressor unloader includes a solenoid control system, wherein said controller unloads compressor capacity by operating said solenoid control system.
3 . The compressor assembly of claim 1 , further comprising a liquid injection system for injecting liquid into said compressor, said controller operable to control said liquid injection system.
4 . The compressor assembly of claim 1 , further comprising an oil injection system operable to control oil injection to said compressor, said controller operable to control said oil injection system.
5 . The compressor assembly of claim 1 , further comprising a crankcase heater disposed in said compressor and a heater control system operable to control said crankcase heater, said controller operable to control said heater control system.
6 . A compressor assembly comprising:
a compressor; a liquid injection system operable to inject liquid into said compressor; and a controller mounted on said compressor and operable to monitor operational characteristics of said compressor and control said liquid injection system.
7 . The compressor assembly of claim 6 , further comprising a solenoid control system, wherein said controller controls said solenoid control system to operate said liquid injection system.
8 . The compressor assembly of claim 6 , further comprising a compressor unloader operable to unload compressor capacity, wherein said controller controls said compressor unloader.
9 . The compressor assembly of claim 6 , further comprising an oil injection system operable to control oil injection to said compressor, said controller operable to control said oil injection system.
10 . The compressor assembly of claim 6 , further comprising a crankcase heater disposed in said compressor and a heater control system operable to control said crankcase heater, said controller operable to control said heater control system.
11 . A compressor assembly comprising:
a compressor; an oil injection system operable to control oil injection to said compressor; and a controller mounted on said compressor and operable to monitor operational characteristics of said compressor and control said oil injection system.
12 . The compressor assembly of claim 11 , further comprising a solenoid control system associated with said oil injection system, wherein said controller controls said solenoid control system to operate said oil injection system.
13 . The compressor assembly of claim 11 , further comprising a compressor unloader operable to unload compressor capacity, wherein said controller controls said compressor unloader.
14 . The compressor assembly of claim 11 , further comprising a liquid injection system for injecting liquid into said compressor, said controller operable to control said liquid injection system.
15 . The compressor assembly of claim 11 , further comprising a crankcase heater disposed in said compressor and a heater control system operable to control said crankcase heater, said controller operable to control said heater control system.
16 . A compressor assembly comprising:
a compressor; a crankcase heater disposed in said compressor; a heater control system operable to control said crank case heater; and a controller mounted on said compressor and operable to monitor operational characteristics of said compressor and control said heater control system.
17 . The compressor assembly of claim 16 , further comprising a liquid injection system for injecting liquid into said compressor, said controller operable to control said liquid injection system.
18 . The compressor assembly of claim 16 , further comprising an oil injection system operable to control oil injection to said compressor, said controller operable to control said oil injection system.
19 . The compressor assembly of claim 16 , further comprising a compressor unloader operable to unload compressor capacity, wherein said controller controls said compressor unloader.Cited by (0)
