Abstract

In an interdental brush, the filaments are retained between two wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) which are twisted with one another. The wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) have a diameter (D) of 0.3 mm or less and consist of a nickel-free or low-nickel steel. These brushes are distinguished by an increased level of rigidity and an improved restoring force and are stable even if the wire has a small diameter.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. Interdental brush in which filaments are retained between two wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) which are twisted with one another, characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) have a diameter (D) of 0.3 mm or less and consist of a nickel-free or low-nickel steel.

. Interdental brush according to claim 1 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) have a diameter (D) of more than 0.15 mm.

. Interdental brush according to claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) have a tensile strength of 1000 N/mm 2 or more.

. Interdental brush according to claim 1 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) have a tensile strength of 1200 N/mm 2 or less.

. Interdental brush according to claim 1 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) consist of an austenitic steel.

. Interdental brush according to claim 1 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) are stretched or drawn out.

. Method of producing an interdental brush, in which filaments ( 2 ) are introduced between two wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) and the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) are twisted with the filaments ( 2 ), characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) consist of nickel-free or low-nickel steel.

. Method according to claim 7 , characterized in that the brush is produced from a single piece of wire, the wire being both bent and stretched as it is processed.

. Interdental brush according to claim 2 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) have a tensile strength of 1200 N/mm 2 or less.

. Interdental brush according to claim 3 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) have a tensile strength of 1200 N/mm 2 or less.

. Interdental brush according to claim 2 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) consist of an austenitic steel.

. Interdental brush according to claim 3 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) consist of an austenitic steel.

. Interdental brush according to claim 4 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) consist of an austenitic steel.

. Interdental brush according to claim 2 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) are stretched or drawn out.

. Interdental brush according to claim 3 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) are stretched or drawn out.

. Interdental brush according to claim 4 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) are stretched or drawn out.

. Interdental brush according to claim 5 , characterized in that the wire sections ( 1 a, 1 b ) are stretched or drawn out.
