Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
- 19 . (Canceled).

. A method for treating one or more disorders selected from the group consisting of nephropathy, proteinuria, albuminuria, impaired glomerular clearance, impaired creatinine clearance, retinopathy, and neurodegenerative disease, comprising administering to a subject with one or more of the disorders an amount effective of pyridoxamine to treat the disorder.

. The method of claim 20 wherein the subject is a diabetic subject.

. The method of claim 21 wherein the one or more disorders comprises nephropathy.

. The method of claim 21 wherein the one or more disorders comprises proteinuria.

. The method of claim 21 wherein the one or more disorders comprises albuminuria.

. The method of claim 21 wherein the one or more disorders comprises impaired glomerular clearance.

. The method of claim 21 wherein the one or more disorders comprises impaired creatinine clearance.

. The method of claim 21 wherein the one or more disorders retinopathy.

. The method of claim 21 wherein the one or more disorders comprises neurodegenerative disease.
