Abstract
A sandal sock including a first covering shaped to fit on a second covering, with the first covering attachable to the second covering in such a manner that the first covering is removable, and with the second covering attachable to the sandal in a manner more secure than the first covering is attachable to the second covering. When a person wears the sandal with the first covering and the second covering attached, at least a portion of the first covering is disposed between the sandal and the person's foot.

a first covering shaped to fit on a second covering, with the first covering attachable to the second covering in such a manner that the first covering is removable, and with the second covering attachable to a sandal or shoe in a manner more secure than the first covering is attachable to the second covering; wherein when a person wears the sandal or shoe with the first covering and the second covering attached, at least a portion of the first covering is disposed between the sandal or shoe and the person's foot.
2 . The sandal sock as in claim 1 , wherein the first covering and the second covering are attachable via one or more hook-and-loop type fasteners.
3 . The sandal sock as in claim 2 , further comprising the hook part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners, wherein the second covering has the loop part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners.
4 . The sandal sock as in claim 2 , further comprising the loop part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners, wherein the second covering has the hook part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners.
5 . The sandal sock as in claim 1 , wherein the first covering is at least partially made of cotton, polyester, nylon, silk, or some combination thereof.
6 . The sandal sock as in claim 1 , wherein the first covering is washable.
7 . The sandal sock as in claim 1 , wherein the first covering is impregnated with a deodorant, medication, or both deodorant and medication.
8 . The sandal sock as in claim 1 , wherein the first covering is padded.
9 . The sandal sock as in claim 1 , further comprising the second covering.
10 . The sandal sock as in claim 9 , further comprising an adhesive on one side of the second covering, whereby the second covering is attachable to the sandal or shoe using the adhesive.
11 . The sandal sock as in claim 10 , wherein the adhesive is permanent or semi-permanent.
12 . The sandal sock as in claim 10 , further comprising a cover on the side of the second covering with the adhesive that can be peeled off before attaching the second covering to the sandal or shoe.
13 . The sandal sock as in claim 9 , wherein the first covering and the second covering each have a slit for a thong on the sandal or shoe that fits between the person's toes.
14 . The sandal sock as in claim 9 , wherein the first covering and the second covering are shaped to fit a generic shape of sandal or shoe.
15 . The sandal sock as in claim 9 , wherein the first covering and the second covering are shaped to fit a specific brand and design of sandal or shoe.
16 . A sandal sock, comprising:
a covering shaped to fit on a sandal or shoe, with the covering attachable to the sandal or shoe in such a manner that the covering is removable; wherein when a person wears the sandal or shoe with the covering attached, at least a portion of the covering is disposed between the sandal or shoe and the person's foot.
17 . The sandal sock as in claim 16 , wherein the covering is attachable via one or more hook-and-loop type fasteners.
18 . The sandal sock as in claim 17 , further comprising the hook part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners, wherein the sandal or shoe has the loop part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners.
19 . The sandal sock as in claim 17 , further comprising the loop part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners, wherein the sandal or shoe has the hook part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners.
20 . The sandal sock as in claim 16 , wherein the covering is at least partially made of cotton, polyester, nylon, silk, or some combination thereof.
21 . The sandal sock as in claim 16 , wherein the covering is washable.

a base; one or more straps, thongs, ties, or some combination thereof dispose to secure the base to a person's foot; and an attachment for a covering shaped to fit on the sandal or shoe, with the covering attachable to the sandal or shoe in such a manner that the covering is removable; wherein when a person wears the sandal or shoe with the covering attached, at least a portion of the covering is disposed between the sandal or shoe and the person's foot.
29 . The sandal or shoe as in claim 28 , wherein the covering is attachable via one or more hook-and-loop type fasteners.
30 . The sandal or shoe as in claim 29 , further comprising the hook part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners, wherein the covering has the loop part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners.
31 . The sandal or shoe as in claim 29 , further comprising the loop part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners, wherein the covering has the hook part of the hook-and-loop type fasteners.
32 . A method of wearing a sandal or shoe, comprising the steps of:
attaching a first covering and a second covering to the sandal or shoe, with the first covering attachable to the second covering in such a manner that the first covering is removable, and with the second covering attachable to the sandal or shoe in a manner more secure than the first covering is attachable to the second covering; and putting on the sandal or shoe; wherein when a person wears the sandal or shoe with the first covering and the second covering attached, at least a portion of the first covering is disposed between the sandal or shoe and the person's foot.
33 . The method as in claim 32 , wherein the first covering and the second covering are attachable via one or more hook-and-loop type fasteners.
34 . The method as in claim 32 , wherein attaching the second covering to the sandal or shoe further comprises attaching the second covering using an adhesive on one side of the second covering.
35 . The method as in claim 34 , wherein the adhesive is permanent or semi-permanent.
36 . The method as in claim 34 , wherein attaching the second covering using the adhesive further comprises first peeling off a cover from the side of the second covering with the adhesive.
37 . A method of wearing a sandal or shoe, comprising the steps of:
attaching a covering to the sandal or shoe, with the covering attachable to the sandal or shoe in such a manner that the covering is removable; and putting on the sandal or shoe; wherein when a person wears the sandal or shoe with the covering attached, at least a portion of the covering is disposed between the sandal or shoe and the person's foot.
