. A method for the prevention of tumor-related disorders in a mammal in need of such prevention, which method comprises administering to said mammal an effective amount of an active compound selected from the group consisting of 2-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-4-methyl-1-(4-sulfamoylphenyl)pyrrole and 4-methyl-1-(4-methylthiophenyl)-2-(4-sulfamoylphenyl)pyrrole.

. The method of claim 68 for the prevention of tumor related disorders wherein the active compound is 4-methyl-1-(4-methylthiophenyl)-2-(4-sulfamoylphenyl)pyrrole.

. The method of claim 68 for the prevention of tumor related disorders wherein the active compound is 2-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-4-methyl-1-(4-sulfamoylphenyl)pyrrole.

. The method of claim 68 wherein the tumor related disorder is cachexia.

. The method of claim 71 for the prevention of cachexia wherein the active compound is 4-methyl-1-(4-methylthiophenyl)-2-(4-sulfamoylphenyl)pyrrole.

. The method of claim 71 for the prevention of cachexia wherein the active compound is 2-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-4-methyl-1-(4-sulfamoylphenyl)pyrrole.
