Use of an extract from the vigna aconitifolia plant in a cosmetic and/or dermopharmaceutical composition

An active composition for treating skin having a protein-containing extract from a Vigna aconitifolia plant.

         21  A composition for treating human skin comprising a protein-containing extract from a  Vigna aconitifolia  plant.  
     
     
         22  The composition of  claim 21  wherein the proteing-containing extract is extracted from seeds of the  Vigna aconitifolia  plant.  
     
     
         23  The composition of  claim 21  wherein the proteing-containing extract contains at least one soluble protein fraction extracted from seeds of the  Vigna aconitifolia  plant.  
     
     
         24  The composition of  claim 21  wherein the protein-containing extract is present in the composition in an amount of from about 0.001 to 30% by weight, based on the weight of the composition.  
     
     
         25  The composition of  claim 21  wherein the protein-containing extract is present in the composition in an amount of from about 0.1 to 20% by weight, based on the weight of the composition.  
     
     
         26  The composition of  claim 21  wherein the protein-containing extract is present in the composition in an amount of from about 0.2 to 10% by weight, based on the weight of the composition.  
     
     
         27  A process for treating human skin comprising contacting the skin with a composition having a protein-containing extract from a  Vigna aconitifolia  plant.  
     
     
         28  The process of  claim 27  wherein the proteing-containing extract is extracted from seeds of the  Vigna aconitifolia  plant.  
     
     
         29  The process of  claim 27  wherein the proteing-containing extract contains at least one soluble protein fraction extracted from seeds of the  Vigna aconitifolia  plant.  
     
     
         30  The process of  claim 27  wherein the protein-containing extract is present in the composition in an amount of from about 0.001 to 30% by weight, based on the weight of the composition.  
     
     
         31  The process of  claim 27  wherein the protein-containing extract is present in the composition in an amount of from about 0.1 to 20% by weight, based on the weight of the composition.  
     
     
         32  The process of  claim 27  wherein the protein-containing extract is present in the composition in an amount of from about 0.2 to 10% by weight, based on the weight of the composition.
