Abstract
A wall section is disclosed for a trailer. The wall section comprises a male end and a female end. The male end includes a central recess having at least one protrusion on each side of the central recess, the protrusions defining respective lateral recesses. The female end includes a central protrusion having at least one lateral protrusion on each side of the central protrusion, the central protrusion and the lateral protrusions defining respective recesses.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A wall section for a trailer, the wall section comprising:
a male end including a central recess having at least one protrusion on each side of the central recess, the protrusions defining respective lateral recesses; and a female end including a central protrusion having at least one lateral protrusion on each side of the central protrusion, the central protrusion and the lateral protrusions defining respective recesses.
. The wall section of claim 1 further comprising an inner side and an outer side, the inner side being substantially smooth.
. The wall section of claim 2 wherein the outer side is substantially smooth.
. The wall section of claim 2 further comprising at least one cross rib joining the inner side and the outer side.
. The wall section of claim 2 wherein at least one lateral recess is generally proximate the outer side.
. The wall section of claim 2 wherein at least one lateral protrusion is generally proximate the outer side.
. The wall section of claim 2 wherein at least one lateral recess is generally proximate the inner side.
. The wall section of claim 1 wherein at least one lateral protrusion is generally proximate the outer side.
. The wall section of claim 1 wherein the wall section comprises aluminum.
. The wall section of claim 1 wherein the wall section is extruded.
. A wall for a trailer, the wall comprising:
a plurality of wall sections, each wall section including a male end including a central recess having at least one protrusion on each side of the central recess, the protrusions defining respective lateral recesses; and a female end including a central protrusion having at least one lateral protrusion on each side of the central protrusion, the central protrusion and the lateral protrusions defining respective recesses; the male end being adapted to interlock with the female end of an adjacent wall section.
. The wall of claim 11 wherein each wall section further includes an inner side and an outer side, the inner side being substantially smooth.
. The wall of claim 12 wherein the outer side is substantially smooth.
. The wall of claim 12 wherein each wall section further includes at least one cross rib joining the inner side and the outer side.
. The wall of claim 12 wherein at least one lateral recess is generally proximate the outer side.
. The wall of claim 12 wherein at least one lateral protrusion is generally proximate the outer side.
. The wall of claim 12 wherein at least one lateral recess is generally proximate the inner side.
. The wall of claim 11 wherein at least one lateral protrusion is generally proximate the outer side.
. The wall of claim 11 wherein each wall section comprises aluminum.
. The wall of claim 11 wherein each wall section is extruded.
. A trailer comprising:
a truck bed; and a plurality of wall sections connected to the truck bed, each wall section including a male end including a central recess having at least one protrusion on each side of the central recess, the protrusions defining respective lateral recesses; and a female end including a central protrusion having at least one lateral protrusion on each side of the central protrusion, the central protrusion and the lateral protrusions defining respective recesses; the male end being adapted to interlock with the female end of an adjacent wall section.
. The wall section of claim 21 further comprising an inner side and an outer side, the inner side being substantially smooth.
. The wall section of claim 22 wherein the outer side is substantially smooth.
. The wall section of claim 22 further comprising at least one cross rib joining the inner side and the outer side.
. The wall section of claim 22 wherein at least one lateral recess is generally proximate the outer side.
. The wall section of claim 22 wherein at least one lateral protrusion is generally proximate the outer side.
. The wall section of claim 22 wherein at least one lateral recess is generally proximate the inner side.
. The wall section of claim 21 wherein at least one lateral protrusion is generally proximate the outer side.
. The wall section of claim 21 wherein the wall section comprises aluminum.
. The wall section of claim 21 wherein the wall section is extruded.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
