Paintball gun barrel with compression chamber
Abstract
A paintball gun barrel with compression chamber that increases the distance and accuracy of shots fired from a paintball gun. An outer tube ( 2 ) with portholes ( 15 ) is placed over an inner tube ( 13 ) with portholes ( 15 ) and connects to the inner tube ( 13 ) via threads ( 14 ). The outer tube ( 2 ) is lined with a spongy filter ( 16 ). Thus, when a shot is fired, the CO 2 used to propel a paintball is released from the compression chamber at a much slower rate of speed as compared to traditional paintball guns, thereby increasing the range of a paintball. Additionally, the spirally scored inner tube ( 13 ) imparts a spin to the paintball for even better accuracy.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A paintball gun barrel with compression chamber comprising:
an inner tube having a breech end and a barrel end; said inner tube having a first length measured from said breech end to said barrel end; said inner tube having a muzzle end located between said breech end and said barrel end; said inner tube having a second length measured from said breech end to said muzzle end; said inner tube having a plurality of tear-shaped portholes located between said breech end and said muzzle end; an outer tube having a breech end and a muzzle end; said outer tube having a length measured from said breech end to said muzzle end; said outer tube sized to accommodate a width of said inner tube; said outer tube having a plurality of tear-shaped portholes located between said breech end and said muzzle end; said outer tube having an inner surface and an outer surface; and said outer tube having a filter lining said inner surface.
2 . The paintball gun barrel with compression chamber of claim 1 wherein:
said inner tube portholes are dispersed as parallel helixes; and said inner tube portholes extend from said breech end to said muzzle end.
3 . The paintball gun barrel with compression chamber of claim 1 wherein:
said outer tube portholes are dispersed as parallel helixes; and said outer tube portholes extend from said breech end to said muzzle end.
4 . The paintball gun barrel with compression chamber of claim 1 wherein:
said filter is porous; said filter is spongy; and said filter extends from said outer tube breech end to said outer tube muzzle end.
5 . The paintball gun barrel with compression chamber of claim 1 wherein:
said inner tube has external threads located at said breech end; said outer tube has internal threads located at said breech end; and said outer tube internal threads match said breech end external threads of said inner tube so that the outer tube is removably and rotatably attachable to said inner tube.
6 . The paintball gun barrel with compression chamber of claim 1 wherein:
said outer tube length is equal to said inner tube second length.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
