Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel protein designated 20P2H8 which shares homology with several heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). A full length approximately 3600 bp 20P2H8 cDNA (SEQ ID NO: 1, encoding a 517 amino acid open reading frame (SEQ ID NO: 2), is provided herein.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO: 2.
2 . The polypeptide of claim 1 , wherein the polypeptide is encoded by a polynucleotide that is 90% identical to SEQ ID NO: 1.
3 . The polypeptide of claim 1 , wherein the polypeptide is encoded by SEQ ID NO: 1.
4 . The polypeptide of claim 1 , wherein the polypeptide is expressed from an expression vector.
5 . The polypeptide of claim 4 , wherein the expression vector encodes a coding sequence that is at least 90% identical to SEQ ID NO: 1.
6 . The polypeptide of claim 1 , wherein the polypeptide is expressed by a host cell.
7 . The polypeptide of claim 6 , wherein the host cell comprises an expression vector which encodes a coding sequence that is at least 90% identical to SEQ ID NO: 1.
8 . The polypeptide of claim 6 , wherein the host cell comprises an expression vector which encodes a coding sequence that is SEQ ID NO: 1.
9 . A method of expressing a polypeptide, comprising:
providing a host cell which comprises an expression vector encoding a polynucleotide sequence which encodes the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO: 2; and culturing the host cell under conditions wherein the polypeptide is expressed.
10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the polynucleotide is at least 90% identical to SEQ ID NO: 1.
11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the polynucleotide is SEQ ID NO: 1.
12 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising recovering the polypeptide.
13 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the host cell is a eucaryotic cell.
14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the eucaryotic cell is a Chinese Hamster Ovary cell.
15 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the eucaryotic cell is a yeast cell.
16 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the eucaryotic cell is a plant cell.
17 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the host cell is a prokaryotic cell.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the prokaryotic cell is a bacterial cell.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the bacterial cell is an E. coli cell.
20 . An immunogenic composition comprising a polypeptide of SEQ ID NO: 2.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
