Abstract

A web page accessible by search engines is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, a web page is provided having a URL and includes information desired to be displayed on the web. The web page further includes keywords associated with the web page. The keywords are accessible to remote search engines and facilitate the location and display of the web page for remote search engines.

1 . A web page accessible by search engines comprising: 
 a web page having a URL, said web page including information desired to be displayed on the web;    said web page further comprising at least one keyword associated with said web page;    wherein said at least one keyword is accessible to remote search engines and facilitate the location and display of said web page located at said URL for said remote search engines.    
   
   
       2 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said at least one keyword includes categories of information.  
   
   
       3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein said web page further includes non-textual information associated with said categories.  
   
   
       4 . The method of  claim 3 , wherein said non-textual information includes graphics.  
   
   
       5 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said at least one keyword includes categories associated to said keywords.  
   
   
       6 . The method of  claim 5  wherein said at least one keyword includes categories associated to said second set of keywords.  
   
   
       7 . The method of  claim 6  wherein said at least one keyword associated to said keywords and further associated to an additional set of categories.  
   
   
       8 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said at least one keyword further includes personalized information.  
   
   
       9 . The method of  claim 8 , where said personalized information includes a URL to the user's homepage.  
   
   
       10 . The method of  claim 1 , further including the act of password-protecting said at least one keyword.  
   
   
       11 . A method for making a web page accessible by search engines comprising: 
 providing a web page having a URL, said web page including information desired to be displayed on the web;    associating at least one keyword with said web page;    allowing said at least one keyword to be accessible to remote search engines, thereby facilitating the location and display of said web page located at said URL for said remote search engines.    
   
   
       12 . The method of  claim 11  wherein said at least one keyword includes categories of information.  
   
   
       13 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein said web page further includes non-textual information associated with said categories.  
   
   
       14 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein said non-textual information includes graphics.  
   
   
       15 . The method of  claim 11  wherein said at least one keyword includes categories associated to said keywords.  
   
   
       16 . The method of  claim 15  wherein said at least one keyword includes categories associated to said second set of keywords.  
   
   
       17 . The method of  claim 16  wherein said at least one keyword associated to said keywords and further associated to an additional set of categories.  
   
   
       18 . The method of  claim 11  wherein said at least one keyword further includes personalized information.  
   
   
       19 . The method of  claim 18 , where said personalized information includes a URL to the user's homepage.  
   
   
       20 . The method of  claim 11 , further including the act of password-protecting said at least one keyword.
