Abstract
A wipe comprising a non-woven composite material including at least one non-woven inner layer and at least one non-woven outer layer. The outer layer is textured and has a Layer Peak To Valley Ratio greater than 1 and less than about 4 and is bonded to the inner layer at at least two points. The composite material has a Wipe Peak To Valley Ratio greater than 1 and less than about 4.

at least one non-woven inner layer; at least one non-woven outer layer, wherein the outer layer is textured and has a Layer Peak To Valley Ratio greater than 1 and less than about 4 and is bonded to the inner layer at at least two points; and wherein the composite material has a Wipe Peak To Valley Ratio greater than 1 and less than about 4.
2 . A wipe comprising a non-woven composite material comprising:
at least one non-woven inner layer; at least one non-woven outer layer, wherein the outer layer is textured and is bonded to the elastic layer at at least two points; and wherein the composite material has a Basis Weight between about 100 gsm and about 130 gsm and a Bending Stiffness greater than zero gf cm 2 /cm and less than 1 gf cm 2 /cm and a Thickness greater than 1.5 millimeters.
3 . A wipe comprising a non-woven composite material comprising:
at least one non-woven inner layer; at least one non-woven outer layer, wherein the outer layer is textured and has a Layer Peak To Valley Ratio greater than 1 and less than about 4 and is bonded to the inner layer at at least two points, wherein the composite material has a Wipe Peak To Valley Ratio greater than 1 and less than about 4; and wherein the composite material has a Basis Weight between about 100 gsm and about 130 gsm and a Bending Stiffness greater than zero gf cm 2 /cm and less than 1 gf cm 2 /cm and a Thickness greater than 1.5 millimeters.
4 . The wipe according to claims 1 , 2 , or 3 , wherein the inner layer is elastic and is selected from the group consisting of an elastic film, an elastic web, elastic fibers, elastic filaments or any combination thereof.
5 . The wipe according to claims 1 , 2 , or 3 , wherein the outer layer is a gatherable layer.
6 . The wipe according to claim 5 , wherein the gatherable layer is a composite material.
7 . The wipe of claim 6 , wherein the gatherable layer is coform having a concentration of polymer at an outer surface.
8 . The wipe of claims 2 or 3 , wherein the Bending Stiffness is selected from the group comprising: less than about 0.8 gf cm 2 /cm, less than about 0.6 gf cm 2 /cm, less than about 0.4 gf cm 2 /cm or less than about 0.2 gf cm 2 /cm.
9 . The wipe of claims 2 or 3 , wherein the Thickness is selected from the group comprising: greater than about 2 mm, greater than about 2.5 mm or greater than about 3 mm.
10 . The wipe of claim 8 , wherein the Thickness is selected from the group comprising:
greater than about 2 mm, greater than about 2.5 mm or greater than about 3 mm.
11 . The wipe of claims 1 , 2 or 3 , wherein the non-woven composite material comprises an elastic material.
12 . The wipe of claims 1 , 2 or 3 , wherein the composite material comprises an elastic inner layer comprising elastic filaments bound to elastic fibers and two gatherable outer layers comprising coform and wherein the elastic inner layer is positioned between the two gatherable outer layers.
13 . The wipe of claims 1 , 2 or 3 , further comprising a liquid disposed on or within at least one of the layers and the wipe being a wet wipe.
14 . The wipe of claims 1 , 2 or 3 , further comprising a liquid disposed on or within at least one of the layers and the wipe being substantially dry.
15 . The wipe of claim 13 , wherein the liquid is a surfactant formulation.
16 . The wipe of claims 1 or 3 , wherein the Layer Peak To Valley Ratio is less than about 3.
17 . The wipe of claims 1 or 3 , wherein the Layer Peak To Valley Ratio is less than about 2.
18 . The wipe of claims 1 or 3 , wherein the Wipe Peak To Valley Ratio is less than about 3.
19 . The wipe of claims 1 or 3 , wherein the Wipe Peak To Valley Ratio is less than about 2.
20 . The wipe of claim 16 , wherein the Wipe Peak To Valley Ratio is less than about 3.
