Abstract

A paintball gun is disclosed which includes a data link for transferring data to and/or from a remote terminal. The link may be a contact or contactless one. A removable data carrier may be used.

       20 . A paintball gun, comprising: 
 a gun body including a compressed gas circuit for firing one or more paintballs;    a memory unit configured to store information concerning operating parameters for the pneumatic operation of the paintball gun;    a central processor operatively connected to the memory unit for processing information regarding the pneumatic operation of the paintball gun; and    a data communication link operatively connected to the processor and configured to provide a connection to a remote terminal, the data communication link configured, when connected to the remote terminal, to transmit information from the remote terminal to the paintball gun regarding changes to the operating parameters for the pneumatic operation of the paintball gun.
