Abstract

Methods of treating cancer include contacting a cancer cell with 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-(5-piperazin-1-yl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)quinolin-2(1H)-one, 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-[5-(4-methyl-4-oxidopiperazin-1-yl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]quinolin-2(1H)-one, tautomers thereof, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, pharmaceutically acceptable salts of the tautomers thereof, or a mixture thereof.

1 . A compound, a tautomer of the compound, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer, or a mixture thereof, wherein the compound is 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-(5-piperazin-1-yl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)quinolin-2(1H)-one.  
     
     
         2 . A pharmaceutical composition, comprising the compound, the tautomer, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer, or the mixture thereof of  claim 1  and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.  
     
     
         3 . A method of treating cancer, comprising contacting a cancer cell with the compound, the tautomer, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer, or the mixture thereof of  claim 1 .  
     
     
         4 . A method of treating cancer, comprising, administering to a subject in need thereof, the tautomer, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer, or the mixture thereof of  claim 1 .  
     
     
         5 . A compound, a tautomer of the compound, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer, or a mixture thereof, wherein the compound is 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-[5-(4-methyl-4-oxidopiperazin-1-yl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]quinolin-2(1H)-one.  
     
     
         6 . A pharmaceutical composition, comprising the compound, the tautomer, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer, or the mixture thereof of  claim 5  and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.  
     
     
         7 . A method of treating cancer, comprising contacting a cancer cell with the compound, the tautomer, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer, or the mixture thereof of  claim 5 .  
     
     
         8 . A method of treating cancer, comprising, administering to a subject in need thereof, the tautomer, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer, or the mixture thereof of  claim 5 .

A method of treating cancer, comprising, contacting a cancer cell with a compound selected from 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-(5-piperazin-1-yl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)quinolin-2(1H)-one, a tautomer of 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-(5-piperazin-1-yl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)quinolin-2(1H)-one, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-(5-piperazin-1-yl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)quinolin-2(1H)-one, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer of 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-(5-piperazin-1-yl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)quinolin-2(1H)-one, 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-[5-(4-methyl-4-oxidopiperazin-1-yl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]quinolin-2(1H)-one, a tautomer of 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-[5-(4-methyl-4-oxidopiperazin-1-yl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]quinolin-2(1H)-one, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-[5-(4-methyl-4-oxidopiperazin-1-yl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]quinolin-2(1H)-one, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer of 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-[5-(4-methyl-4-oxidopiperazin-1-yl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]quinolin-2(1H)-one, or a mixture thereof.
