Abstract

Coding section 205 recodes decoded data stored in decoded data storage section 204 , data conversion section 206 converts data “0” and “1” output from coding section 205 to “1” and “−1” respectively, sum-of-product calculation section 207 multiplies the data output from data conversion section 206 by the demodulated data (soft decision value) stored in demodulated data storage section 201 and then calculates the sum of the products for 1 TTI and stores the sum-of-product result for each data rate, data rate decision section 208 decides the data rate corresponding to a maximum value of the sum-of-product results as the data rate of the demodulated data. This makes it possible to improve the accuracy of data rate decision and reduce decoding errors of a received signal.

       14 . A decoding apparatus using blind transport format detection, the decoding apparatus comprising: 
 a deciding section that decides at least one explicitly detectable transport channel based on restrictions,    a decoding section that decodes all transport channels using said explicitly detectable transport channel, wherein:    said restrictions include at least five restrictions,    the first restriction is that convolutional coding is used on all explicitly detectable transport channels,    the second restriction is that CRC with non-zero length is appended to all transport blocks on all explicitly detectable transport channels,    the third restriction is that at least one transport block is transmitted per TTI on each explicitly detectable transport channel,    the fourth restriction is that the number of explicitly detectable transport channels is three or less, and    the fifth restriction is that for all explicitly detectable transport channels, the number of code blocks in one TTI shall not exceed one.    
   
   
       15 . A base station apparatus equipped with a decoding apparatus, said decoding apparatus comprising: 
 a deciding section that decides at least one explicitly detectable transport channel based on restrictions,    a decoding section that decodes all transport channels using said explicitly detectable transport channel, wherein:    said restrictions include at least five restrictions,    the first restriction is that convolutional coding is used on all explicitly detectable transport channels,    the second restriction is that CRC with non-zero length is appended to all transport blocks on all explicitly detectable transport channels,    the third restriction is that at least one transport block is transmitted per TTI on each explicitly detectable transport channel,    the fourth restriction is that the number of explicitly detectable transport channels is three or less, and    the fifth restriction is that for all explicitly detectable transport channels, the number of code blocks in one TTI shall not exceed one.    
   
   
       16 . A communication terminal apparatus equipped with a decoding apparatus, said decoding apparatus comprising: 
 a deciding section that decides at least one explicitly detectable transport channel based on restrictions,    a decoding section that decodes all transport channels using said explicitly detectable transport channel, wherein:    said restrictions include at least five restrictions,    the first restriction is that convolutional coding is used on all explicitly detectable transport channels,    the second restriction is that CRC with non-zero length is appended to all blocks on all explicitly detectable transport channels,    the third restriction is that at least one transport block is transmitted per TTI on each explicitly detectable transport channels,    the fourth restriction is that the number of explicitly detectable transport channels is three or less,    the fifth restriction is that for all explicitly detectable transport channels, the number of code blocks in one TT 1  shall not exceed one.    
   
   
       17 . A decoding method using blind transport format detection, comprising the steps of, 
 deciding at least one explicitly detectable transport channel based on restrictions,    decoding all transport channels using said detectable transport channel, wherein:    said restrictions include at least five restrictions,    the first restriction is that convolutional coding is used on all explicitly detectable transport channels,    the second restriction is that CRC with non-zero length is appended to all transport blocks on all explicitly detectable transport channels,    the thirrd restriction is that at least one transport block is transmitted per TTI on each explicitly detectable transport channel,    the fourth restriction is that the number of explicitly detectable transport channels is three or less, and    the fifth restriction is that for all explicitly detectable transport channels, the number of code blocks in one TTI shall not exceed one.
