Betting die

Abstract

A betting die is used for selecting one out of two competitors on which to place a wager in a sporting event. The die has a plurality of faces which have markings representative of the competitors. The die provides a random choice of which competitor is to be selected for the wager depending upon positioning of the markings after rolling of the die.

1 . A betting die for use in selecting one of a first and a second competitor on which to place a bet from a sporting event in which the first and second competitors compete against one another, said betting die having a first face with a first marking representative of the first competitor thereon and a second face with a second marking representative of the second competitor thereon, the first and second markings being selected from the group of first and second markings consisting of a home marking which is the first marking and an away marking which is the second marking and a favorite marking which is the first marking and an underdog marking which is the second marking.  
   
   
       2 . A betting die as claimed in  claim 1  in which the home marking is indicated by H, the away marking is indicated by A, the favorite marking is indicated by F, and the underdog marking is indicated by D.  
   
   
       3 . A betting die for use in selecting one of a first competitor and a second competitor on which to place a wager in a sporting event in which the first and second competitors compete against one another, the die having at least first, second, third and fourth faces each of which has a different face marking thereon, the face markings consisting of a home marking, an away marking, a favorite marking and an underdog marking, two of said markings being representative of the first competitor and two of said markings being representative of the second competitor.  
   
   
       4 . A betting die as claimed in  claim 3  wherein the home marking is indicated by H, the away marking is indicated by A, the favorite marking is indicated by F, and the underdog marking is indicated by D.
