Patterned fabric and a method for the production thereof

Abstract

A patterned fabric having warp threads and weft threads that form an illustration. The weft threads are arranged to form a threaded group and, together with at least one warp thread, form a cell. The weft threads are tied off in the cell by the warp thread so that the cell has a defined color impression. The cell has weaves formed irregularly in a warp direction and a weft direction by at least two of the warp threads and two of the weft threads without periodic repetition.

A patterned fabric, comprising warp threads and weft threads that form an illustration, the weft threads being arranged to form a thread group and, together with at least one warp thread, form a cell, the weft threads being tied off in the cell by the warp thread so that the cell has a defined color impression, the cell having weaves formed irregularly in a warp direction and a weft direction by at least two of the warp threads and two of the weft threads without repeat repetition.  
   
   
       2 . The fabric according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one weft thread of the thread group crosses at least one warp thread above the warp thread on a face side of the fabric.  
   
   
       3 . The fabric according to  claim 1 , wherein the weft threads have different colors.  
   
   
       4 . The fabric according to  claim 3 , wherein the thread group consists of weft threads with basic colors red (R), green (G), blue (B), yellow (Y), black (S) and white (W).  
   
   
       5 . The fabric according to  claim 3 , wherein the thread group consists of weft threads with basic colors magenta (M), cyan (C), yellow (Y), black (S) and white (W).  
   
   
       6 . The fabric according to  claim 1 , wherein the irregular weave is predetermined according to image dots generated during an image breakdown of the illustration.  
   
   
       7 . The fabric according to  claim 6 , wherein the image dots are formed from at least two weft threads of different basic color.  
   
   
       8 . The fabric according to  claim 1 , and further comprising a combination of the cell, with a region which is formed by regular weaves with repeat repetition.  
   
   
       9 . The fabric according to  claim 1 , wherein the weft threads have floats on a face side of the fabric with a maximum length of forty-eight warp threads.  
   
   
       10 . The fabric according to  claim 1 , wherein the weft threads have floats on a back side of the fabric with a minimum length of four warp threads.
