Ironing accessory

Abstract

The invention concerns an ironing accessory and an ironing method. The ironing accessory comprises a roughly V-shaped insert for a pants leg. The ironing accessory is further comprised of an area that serves as a handle, is enabled for theft-deterrence, and has a visual guide for alignment with the pants seam or the middle of the pants leg. The front and back of the device is disposed for promotional, advertising or identification information. The methods are for ironing pants using the device.

1 . An ironing accessory, comprising: 
 a top side,    a bottom side,    a left side,    a right side,    a front side,    a back side,    wherein said front side and said back side are co-planar with each other,    wherein said top side and said bottom side are parallel to each other,    wherein said bottom side is smaller than said top side,    wherein said ironing accessory is made of a heat resistant material,    wherein said ironing accessory is enabled for insertion into a pants leg,    wherein said ironing accessory is disposed for creating creases in said pants leg.    
     
     
         2 . The ironing accessory according to  claim 1 , further comprising 
 a hole near the top of said top side that forms a hand-hold,    wherein said hand-hold is enabled for gripping with a human hand.    
     
     
         3 . The ironing accessory according to  claim 2 , further comprising alignment means, 
 wherein said alignment means is center-positioned vertically from said top side to said bottom side.    
     
     
         4 . The ironing accessory according to  claim 3 , further comprising said front side being disposed for decoration and information.  
     
     
         5 . The ironing accessory according to  claim 4 , further comprising securing means.  
     
     
         6 . A method of ironing pants, trousers and shorts, comprising: 
 placing said pants on an ironing board or any flat surface;    grabbing the ironing accessory in one hand by said hand-hold and the waist of said pants in the other hand;    aligning the outside seam of said pants with said alignment means;    sliding said ironing accessory down the pants leg until the pants leg becomes taunt;    ironing both sides of the pant leg;    determining that the pant's leg is sufficiently ironed;    grabbing the ironing accessory in one hand by said hand-hold; and    pulling the ironing accessory out of the pants leg.    
     
     
         7 . A method of ironing pants, trousers and shorts, comprising: 
 placing said pants on an ironing board or any flat surface;    grabbing the ironing accessory in one hand by said hand-hold and the waist of said pants in the other hand;    aligning the middle of said pants with said alignment means;    sliding said ironing accessory down the pants leg until the pants leg becomes taunt;    ironing both sides of the pant leg;    determining that the pant's leg is sufficiently ironed;    grabbing the ironing accessory in one hand by said hand-hold; and    pulling the ironing accessory out of the pants leg.
