Abstract

This invention relates to the field of nanotechnology. Specifically the invention describes a method for cutting a multiplicity of nano-structures to uniform dimensions of length, length and width, or area, or to a specific distribution of lengths or area using various cutting techniques.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 51 . (canceled)

         52 . A population of nano-structures having a distribution of lengths.

         53 . A population of nano-rods having a distribution of lengths.

54 . The population of nano-rods of claim 53 wherein the nano-rods have a distribution of lengths from 10 nanometers to about 1000 nanometers.

55 . The population of nano-rods according to either of claims 52 or 53 wherein the nano-rods are selected from the group consisting of carbon nanotubes, polymeric nanofibers, natural nanofibers, and boron nitride nanofibers.

         56 . (canceled)
